Well...bollocks. I'm afraid things aren't going well :S

So last week I took a late weekend on Monday and Tuesday. But on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I started scrubbing through that Farming Simulator 2015 footage that Cyanide and I streamed a while ago. I ended up creating a 7 minute video, and I ended the week with about 1 minute and 10 seconds fully edited.

But there's a huge problem which became immediately obvious on a test render! The footage is simply too poor quality to do anything with. Unfortunately I had to record it with OBS, as my hard drives were full of other footage. So the resulting raw footage is washed out, blurry and crap.

But even more annoyingly, although the footage is 60 fps, Farming Simulator itself are very obviously not rendering for 60 fps. Characters sometimes animate  frame-by-frame, sometimes every two frames, sometimes every 4-5. The end result is the text being animated looks really unsatisfying. And even if I invest a lot of time animating it frame-by-frame it jerks around with the character as if it's vibrating or something.

I'm not so sure there's a way out of this. I'm thinking the best thing to do would be to remove the text and present it to you as a sort of failed bullshittery episode, fully edited, but with video and voices alone. Like a highly edited stream. And then quickly move onto the next bullshittery episode instead.

Lets see how it goes tomorrow. I'll let you know how I do.  Sorry folks :(
