Update - October (Patreon)

Thanks again for your support folks. I've just passed the $1000 dollar mark. Which is roughly £500 after exchange, taxes and other fees. Thanks again for your generosity.

I'm trying to resist the urge to just take the plunge, hand in my notice and go full time. But I need to try and be patient. I worry about compromising on quality if I'm having to rush to stay afloat with rent & food. I'd like to make sure I'm financially safe before doing something as drastic as turning away from the salary on a job. But I'm eager to go full time. I have about seven episodes in the pipeline.

One possible alternative is Twitch.tv. I’ve recently been approved as a Twitch partner, which allows viewers to subscribe in exchange for various benefits. I’m not entirely sure how that works yet. But if the amount per month turns out to be significant, then I’ll rapidly adjust the value on goal 1 down. I aim to be fully transparent and keep you all informed on how things are looking.

And in other news, I’ve started work on the finale to Alien Isolation. It’s roughly 25% complete, and I’ll try and dedicate quite a lot of time to it over the next couple of weeks.
