So it's been roughly a week since the last update, during which I've been scrubbing through the available Arma 3 Antistasi streams (that started April 30th) to try and determine if there's enough clips to make a bullshittery compilation along with a somewhat coherent structure, showing a resistance group.

I can report that the answer is a resounding yes. There's more than enough here to make a full antistasi bullshittery and I can begin immediately.

So the process over the last 5 work days has been to transform 26 Antistasi Streams (roughly 60 hours of gameplay) into the following - properly sorted and stored folders, alongside their relevant notes:

(also Patreon has made that in-line image gigantic and I'm not sure why, sorry. I shrank it, but they just blew it up in a low resolution. Awkward)

Once done, I was then able to pour through these notes to start nesting the clips. Creating 150 gags, callbacks, interesting moments or funny extended action sequences. All stored in their own independent timelines for easy retrieval.

If anything, I need to be careful I don't go too far.

The previous Antistasi Bullshittery was about 26 minutes long and had 40+ nested sequences. I now have 150 to play with for Antistasi alone. A testament to how much stuff we got up to this time round in about 3 weeks of gameplay. But if I try to include them all then it's going to be an hour long and 10+ weeks of editing.

What I need to do now is start assembling a coherent bullshittery video from start to finish, whilst being mindful of what I include:

  • I may try to see if  jokes that are independent of what's going on in game can be disguised as regular Arma gameplay (two people bantering in the back of a truck could be Antistasi or Arma 3). And simply save them for Arma Bullshittery part 11 if/when you eventually request it.
  • Or I may find I'm not able to do that. And try to make Antistasi a two parter with a cliffhanger.
  • Or heck, you may even tell me that you're completely okay with a gigantic episode, so long as I can pledge to a certain level of quality.

With your blessing I'll begin the assembling and then tell you how it's looking by the end of the week. I'll make some rough drafts and report back.

Week 2 has started and the work continues! All the best folks.
