Good afternoon everybody. Just to let you know that with HELLDIVERS 2 public and then a week taken off as a break, I'm ready to get started with the next edit.

Actually the timing was really excellent. For last week saw me finally secure a new place that isn't this cramped little flat in Brighton. I'm exceedingly grateful to you all for that. Thank you very much! And Lulu would thank you too for this place has a small garden for her to roam around in.

I've not moved out yet, but fairly soon the work will continue from a different location in Brighton. Once I set a date to move the internet connection. Expect to see the livestream camera background change in the next few weeks.

I'll try to keep the editing work as uninterrupted as I can.

Currently the plan is to perform the necessary tasks needed to start the next project. This one being traditionally my choice, as HELLDIVERS 2 was selected by the Patrons. I like to alternate between one of my choice and one of the backers choice, for those unfamiliar.

Whilst the nominal plan is to continue on with The Forest 2 video-essay, I want to take a moment to reassess, review the work done, what needs to be done, and whether anything else is higher priority.

There are other tasks to be completed also. Administrative stuff that always builds up. Livestreams need to be properly categorised and moved to the NAS storage device, along with their associated notes. Otherwise they get lost in the morass of hard drive space. Or worse, categorised but not archived.

The closet archive website has a sizeable backlog due to a technical issue with the the sound channels defaulting to the wrong one. That needs to get resolved. The entire recently Valheim playthrough is awaiting upload.

So bear with me. I'll have a scrub through, determine what needs to be done, and what I fancy doing for August. Be back very soon with a follow up post once I have a direction.

Congratulations. It's been a long wait for the new place.

Congratulations to the new home! Just a shower thought: Maybe it's a good idea to delay any forest and especially the audio recording to a time after the move. a) it's likely much easier than the current situation with night time recording. And therefore less taxing on your sleep schedule. b) the audio might sound very different already due to the moved boxes. Therefore it might be good to have as much audio from the new place instead of: old flat with stuff in it, old flat without stuff within it and then new flat. If the move is too long away and your editing urge is too big you maybe can bridge the gap with some quick and done edits like you have done with the the Silent Hunter III clips.
