Water Dragon Clove- Process (Patreon)

Hello Dragons, I've been zooming trying to make some new prints for the coming convention in June and this is one of them! 

I'm pretty proud of myself for this one since I managed to make it over the span of 1 day while struggling to keep making episodes at the same time.

Originally I had a vision of Clove in her Dragon demi form glowing in dark water (to mirror what has been happening in the story/cave so far) You can see a WIP version here-> 

So then, why did I decide to go with a light theme when you can see the glowy hair so much better? I'll tell you, because Cyan is one of those colors that prints HORRIBLY! No matter how much I tried, I couldn't get the hair to be as glowy and intense as needed (in fact it seemed to look even more gray and dark).

I hope I made the right call for now! I am still waiting to get a physical proof print for this and I can't wait to share it with all of you!
