Sneak Peek #12: Revised Sprites, New Characters, and an Arousing CG... (Patreon)

Hey there, Juniors, Seniors, and Graduates! I'm taking a quick break from working on the game to share some of what's to come in the next release, plus an early look at a few new characters.

Revisions

I've talked a bit in the past about how it's always worth it to take the time to revise your work if something isn't working for you. This proved true for two of the characters who will be at the frat party: Xavier and Brooke. Here I'm presenting their new base sprites alongside the originals.

Xavier

If you played the dev build, you know Xavier is an incredibly snobby character. This revamped look is to make that clear the moment you lay eyes on him. In addition to a few minor facial feature changes, I gave him a sleeker haircut, a more judgmental pose, and to top it off, a pair of expensive sunglasses to wear... indoors... at night...

Brooke

Brooke is meant to be a dreamy, ethereal hippy girl. While the original character model wasn't necessarily bad, seeing her side by side with the other characters in-game made it super clear she needed an upgrade.

The new Brooke is a great example of why I work so hard to find the highest quality assets possible. Original flavor Brooke had flatter textures and sharper angles that weren't working here. New Brooke uses a different figure model and is softer, more realistic, and feels much more like what I imagined her character to be.

New Boys

After the frat party is released, I'll be moving on to the club update. I've started some preliminary design steps while having CGs render, and today I'd like to share two of the new guys you can meet while clubbing: Jordi and David.

Jordi

Jordi is the fourth of the five new Dorm Wilde guys you can meet by the end of Day Two (three are at the frat party and the other two will be at the club). 

After a few years on a sports scholarship at another school, Jordi decided to swap to 21CA to follow his true dream: become an action movie star. He's a spirited, athletic, and energetic guy who's here to train for both acting and stunt work. 

He's also a thick af short king, because why make this game if I can't create every flavor of guy I find hot? 😂

David

If you hung out with Isaiah after Will's class, you may recognize this boy. David and Isaiah were in dance classes together during high school, where David flirtatiously teased Isaiah day in and day out. After learning David was gay at the end of the school year, Isaiah got brave enough to make a move... and got mercilessly mocked for it.

Lo and behold, David is in the city at a rival arts school, and he's going to show up at the club looking hot and ready to stir up some drama. Why do some of these twunks gotta be so bitchy??

Hookup Preview

Lastly, BIG SPOILER ALERT: 

I'm ending this sneak peek with a CG from the Marco hookup scene that can potentially end the frat party sequence.

Unlike prior CG previews, I'm sharing this one completely uncensored. It's a simple image—just two boys naked in a dark room. But I don't think it needs to be fancy to be super hot.

I purposefully posed Marco to echo the CG you can unlock if you head straight to your room before orientation. The curve of Marco's body, the way he's lit, the look on his face... this might be my favorite image of Marco I've made so far.
