Twilight's Castle (Patreon)

This is the latest in a series of drawings I've done of famous architectural sites around Equestria. Now, before you start groaning I want to say something. No I do not like the design of Twilight's castle. It is something of a train wreck when it comes to design, and I am using the term "design" very loosely here. It's a slapdash collection of elements that looks the architect firm that built the Skeksis  Castle for the Dark Crystal then went and built the Sleeping Beauty Castle  but decided for financial reasons to use all the leftover materials from the first project to construct the next one.

I think the original library was much nicer Ponyville Library study. but Tirek, and the Hasbro Execs, have blown it up so now we have this. In some ways I guess the castle's design mirrors the somewhat awkward, adorkable elements of Twilight's personality. Hopefully Earth Pony will have this available as laser etched/cut on wood at Bronycon this July.
