Almost ready to fly! (Patreon)

I take great joy in creating art, but as an illustrator I find even greater pleasure in seeing my skills being applied in the fashion I went to school for. I trained to be a commercial illustrator so when I get a chance to ply my trade for commercial purposes it is an extra bonus.

A year or so ago I was commissioned by a client to create some classic nose/aircraft graphics for an aircraft Kitfox final color 01 he is building. Well he is getting closer to completing the aircraft, and so he's gotten around to apply my image to his aircraft.

Unless you've built or restored an object this complex and time-consuming it is hard to appreciate the passion and commitment required in successfully finishing it. You have to devote a good portion of your life for many months or years to make it happen. It is a journey of setbacks and triumphs but when the day comes that you can stand back look upon all your efforts it can be a very emotional experience. Therefore I am very honored that I was selected to help in making a small part of this dream come true.
