Sometimes you can recover something really neat from a failure. I am currently working on a piece of art in which the client as made a couple interest design requests that are proving to be challenging. After poking at some thumbnails sketches and not getting anywhere I decided to approach the project from a different angle.

Instead trying to exactly figure out how to match the clients description I decided to do some thumbnails from the angle I might do the piece then see if I could adjust it to more closely match what the client had in mind.

However after about 30 minutes of brainstorming I was still no closer to solution, but staring at one of the thumbnails I realized. "Hey! that could be turned into a really cool Rainbow Dash piece!" So I took that one refined it a bit more and this was the end result. The one thing to find interesting is that it mimics the same camera angle as one of my recent Flutterbat sketches.

I reallllllly like what work I can see; and when I get up and going more here, I'll be donating to you. Wonderful work, and the fluidity of your line work is great.
