Lightning and sunshine. B/W lighting study (Patreon)

Before I begin on a color piece I will often do a relatively tight B/W drawing to work out how lighting will interact with characters or objects in the piece. 

      This is drawing is one of those drawings. It's for a commission and it's of Lightning Dust doing what pegasus ponies love to do. Fly. To dance amongst the clouds and upon the wind. Either alone or with other ponies. In my Equestria dreamscape it's one of the things I enjoy the most.
