I've already mentioned previously the inspirations and basis for the Renewal but I will re-state them for the help I had in consultation and being mindful of BIPOC experiences and particularly the Anishinaabeg style of dress Maraevas wears in this piece:

"The Star card with some intersection with The Water Protectors that exist as activists to protect the world's water and see that Indigenous rights and practices are respected in the protection of Earth's vital resources. The idea of blending these two topics is to see a renewal in the care for Earth's water and hope for the future.
