I haven't really been updating you guys on any lore news for the Amaru lately, but I do have a new set of official subspecies that I'll be working on from time to time. The reason why I bring that up is because Isis and her mom are going through a bit of a revamp in terms of story and background. 

Isis' parents were originally gonna be the same species and designs as her, but now that the official subspecies are gonna be a thing, theDracoArtist and I decided that Isis could very well be a hybrid of a Southern Amaru and one of the official subspecies .. 

one that we got so far .. is an EGYPTIAN Great Northern Amaru! . o . 

We don't have the story worked out just yet, but I've occasionally imagined Isis and Kiki roaming around in the same world as Leslie and Bolero, and I feel like Isis' strange look could suggest that there are more species yet to be discovered.. and might one day lead to a trip to Africa where they'll find not one but TWO new species of Amaru.
