I live for the dreamy piano paired with that gritty guitar in Chase Me. There's so much to unpack production-wise with this song. I live for this high energy vibe where they attack the vocals with such clarity. The backing vocals sent me to another planet, and this was also the case for Emotion. This is what I'm loving about Dreamcatcher - the lead vocals don't miss... but there's also 'magic in the backing vocals.'  I need acapellas of all Dreamcatcher songs.

Emotion shows very clearly what Handong's voice brings to the mix. Even though her range is very similar to Jiu's, her voice is quite unique. She wasn't given very many lines at this stage because her Korean wasn't good. They tended to give her the English lines because her English accent is good. Even though she doesn't get much it sticks with you because of what I can only call purity. I'm glad you listened to the instrumental. In the MVs, the instrument tracks are always slightly muted to bring out the vocals. I have a playlist of nothing but the instrumental versions of their title tracks. The music is brilliant, and LEEZ and Ollounder are musical geniuses. Sadly, they have parted ways and the weight is all on Ollounder now. He is responsible for the Bon Voyage and OOTD albums and I love the direction he's taking with Dreamcatcher. Demian, Shatter, and Propose are wonderful songs, and all three have choreo. He really knows exactly how to get the best out of Siyeon.

This is why I always encourage people to just start at the beginning and work their way forward. The first two single albums are such a complete microcosm of what Dreamcatcher is. Fantastic instrumentation, beautiful vocals & harmonies, and amazing diversity. That's the basis for all of their songs and it only grows and expands as the years march on.

Absolutely. Yay for Handong. 🥰 Loved this melody and her tone so so much. Yes I love to just focus on the instrumentation too.. I always say there's so much amazingness going on with their music so if I get the chance to appreciate the music and the vocals separately it really helps.. Ahhh Shatter...that song and choreo... sensational - i have also reacted to the live stage for shatter xx
