Personally I've waited years for them to finally get to perform on a Award Show, so I was very proud and really looking forward to it. For me it was good, but not great. Sometimes the backing track volume got too high suddenly (during Dami's rap for example). And, like you, I love their intro's. And even though this entrance + audio was quite cool, I think it could've been even better. Maybe instead of using 30sec on intro + 1 min on Shatter, play one of their great intro's fully (for 1m30s), with some nice theatrics (maybe about OOTD). The playing within the artist area was cool and done very well (you didn't really notice DC members leaving, nor joining). It's also something different, unique from other performers, and quite bold, so I liked that + the confidence to do that. Still would've traded it for a longer intro, or some backup dancers, or a band, or props, etc. Not that (m)any other groups had that, so maybe just my wishful thinking 😋 Still very proud of them for this. It's another milestone they wanted for a long time.
