It's easy to miss but little paulie talked flipping that esplanade property to Paulie just before telling him 'the joke.' Took me several season run throughs to pick up on it myself. Silly to have such a pivotal momentum-driving piece of information stepped on by that lame one liner.

I’m so confused what I would do in this situation 😂 especially after Johnny said that shit about 1 million dollars to fuck her, just on principle alone there’s no way he can accept any amount of money from Ralph without looking like he’s literally selling out his/his wife’s honor. That was Johnny’s mistake; he made an impossible ask right from the get go and put himself in a position where accepting anything less is even more disrespectful to Ginny. The crazy part is Carmine really seemed willing to back Johnny on just about anything besides that! Like damn he could have asked for a duel or just to slap Ralph across the face or something and he’d probably say yes.

I'm honestly surprised that Carmine didn't push back even harder on Johnny about the mole. There's a wrench in a million dollar job because some asshole in Jersey is leaking information. Carmine had to go to like 4 different meetings and/or sit downs over this and each time he was like a tired old NBA coach with a WTF look on his face. Even if you imagine that Johnny told Carmine who the mole was (like offscreen) it still doesn't excuse his passiveness, I figured Carmine would just tell Johnny to tell Tony. Could you imagine? Now Ralphie is dead, Paulie is dead and you can just put Eugene in there like Sack wanted the whole time. Win-win-win-win.

The mole has been working in Carmines favor. That's how he learned about Tony selling that property, and Carmine got his cut because they share any profits made from inside information they get from Zellman. The Ginny / John situation ultimately didn't cost him money, just aggravation.

Ginny has her issues, but she didn't CAUSE that shit. She never disrespected Ralph or ridicule him publicly. Any real man's blood would boil at the thought of his ladies name being in some assholes mouth. John overreacted wanting to kill the idiot, but his anger was justified. He loves his wife, and the thought of people laughing at her was too much to bear.
