Yeah so this is yet another one of those times where the first look at one your paintings has caused an out-loud verbal reaction, this time it was "Holy sweet mother of god!" 😹 First of all, these colours are absolutely gorgeous, I love the cool tones of the background with the calm blues and greens, with the blue even seeming to tint the green grass, blending it in with the sky. And for the character herself, her blue eyes are so very distinct against her warm skin and fire-red hair, likewise, the skin of her breasts and hip/thigh also pop very nicely against her black attire. And secondly, I love the pose for the character too, there's a fantastic sense of motion thanks both to the hair and how it billows back with strands flowing and curling at the tips, as well as how her right sleeve is also being swept back too. And of course she looks so very sensual with the arch to her back pushing out her more-than-ample breasts, as well as the strongly curving contours of her hips emerging from the black material. I also love the pose for her arms with the slant to her shoulders and the asymmetry with one arm higher than the other, while the fact that she's looking towards us with what may be the slight hint of a smile just makes her all the more appealing 😻😻😻😻😻 The lighting and rendering are as exquisite as ever and something I really like is how as the hair starts to recede further into the background, it starts to be tinted blue, blending back into the sky. And the hair itself is impressively detailed with so many strands given so much care and attention, I also love the line of warm, yellowish light that runs through her hair at the top, creating a nice warm focal point and also contrasting more with the blues. The lighting and rendering of all of her skin is amazing too and I really like that there's an overall gradient going on, her face is the brightest, with her arms and breasts featuring darker shadows while still receiving bright lights and then her exposed hip is quite dark with a rim-light to add a contrast to the shadow and accentuate the shapes. Her face is absolutely beautiful too, those blue eyes are so very captivating and I like the hint of blue rim-lighting on her cheek to further separate the skin tones from the orange hair. The arms are very impressively painted too, especially her right arm! I love the rippling shadows and multiple tones of light and bright rim-lighting that define the shapes and add those ridges and dips in her twisting forearm. And of course, those absolute motherloads emerging from her chest are fantastically well painted with a beautiful contrast between pale light and darker shadows, with the tones blended so smoothly together, the sharper cast shadow between the breasts also looks great and adds an extra contrast between them. Oh and that metal chain (which also has a lovely amount of detail to it and a great texture) that sinks between her breasts is just.... god, that is sexy! 😻😻😻 (also pops very nicely against the skin tones) And lastly are her clothes and they are exquisite! The many rippling folds across her sleeves, midsection, pelvis, thighs and through her ribbon-belt are all so beautifully painted with how they overlap and skin into each other. And the black material is especially impressive with how it's tinted multiple colours influenced by the background that add so much life to it in addition to adding sections of additional warmth or coolness for even more lovely contrasts! There's also a great and subtle shine to the material and very appealing texture with the blending of tones, I also adore the sleeve on her left arm and how it falls down her arm, with the folds being thick and heavy, collapsing together. That sleeve is also a perfect example of what I meant about the colours with brighter, warm rim-lighting along the top, with a cool-blue tint below. Absolutely sensational work on this painting, Dandon! Rangiku here has been a truly wonderful surprise! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I am in love with these colours and yet another blue-eyed beauty makes me very happy! 💙💙
