This tragedy in Kyoto utterly breaks my heart.

My heart goes out to the people of KyoAni and their families.

Senseless and heartless act of violence, such a tragedy that shouldn't of happen. Very heartbreaking.

Part of the wonderful history of animation has died today, it is an extremely sad day. So many great people passed away in this tragedy, it's really heartbreaking. :(

Damn. That hits hard to home. Theres no motive that could be justified for this. I send my prayers out to the families of those who were murdered and I hope everyone's reach them as well. Thanks for posting this so more are aware Dandon. I know money doesn't makeup for the tragedy but if anyone comes across something to support please share, cuz I'd love to contribute.

I was reading the news first thing this morning when I woke up and tears were rolling down my cheeks before I even noticed them. Truly heartbroken after such an incident. Cherish everyone you love every day. Don't leave them with words or acts you'll forget should they be the last you give them. T^T

My condolences to the victim's families have been given to them. It's a shame people would do nefarious things like this, especially to a company that has been made by the people who came together to provide us great art and entertainment. God rest the souls of those who've died in the blaze.

KyoAni, an anime studio is Kyoto, was the victim of an arson attack yesterday. 33 people lost their lives with more hospitalised :/

It's really awful news, especially since it was caused by someone who specifically wanted to do those people harm. May they rest in peace, and may their families have solace. It's good to know, though, that the GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $1 million so far; while it definitely won't return them the lives they lost, at the very least it will help them rebuild. Also, it goes to show how many people around the world feel for their loss, and support them. They are certainly not alone.
