Oh my! What an enticing, magnificent and beautiful vision we have here! 😻😻😻😻😻 As for the start of my 2019, I've been playing through all of the Devil May Cry games, onto the 3rd one now, easily the best so far 😸, I hope that you've been doing very well too. But back to this painting, oh mercy me, you left me speechless for a moment with this one! I absolutely love her pose here, the way she has her head turned against the direction of her body, her hair flowing out to one side, the asymmetry of her arms and the overall S curves running through her body all look so dynamic. While her pose is also so alluring and sexy with the flow of her hair, her breasts protruding forth, absolutely sensational abs on full display with the voluptuous curves of her hips accentuated as her thighs cross over. What makes her all the better still is her gorgeous face, her green eyes pop so nicely against her warm skin and hair tones, while her luscious red lips have such an appealing and juicy shine to them. I also really like the scene and background, something about a pinup where the lovely lady is standing amidst water is just so appealing to me. The colours of across the whole painting work so well with the cool green tones of the water allowing Sonja's warm skin and hair to really pop, similarly the steel tones of her attire also contrast so nicely against her skin tones. I also like the variation in colour across the water with yellowish tones amongst it all too. The rendering in this piece as well is just amazing! Her hair is so very intricate and the lighting on it looks great, I particularly like the brighter tones along her right fringe. Her face is particularly beautiful with the light shining onto the side of her face that's left open and framed by the hair, while itself being divided into light and shadow sides, creating an eye-catching contrast and defining her features. The forms of her anatomy across her whole body is so impressively painted and defined by the lighting and your perfect blending of soft and hard edges. I love both of her shoulders, how her pec wraps up over her left one, while the right one is tensed and hardened, further accentuated by the thin rim lighting running down it, as well as the hard edges that separate it from the rest of the arm. Her neck, chest and collarbones look terrific and the darker tones used across them really lets her brighter face pop. The long and warm-tinted light that runs down her left side does such a fantastic job of accentuating her abs, as well as dividing the centre of her abs into their two sides, while each of her thighs also benefit so well from this use of lighting. Looking at her thighs, I really like the tiny little dimples on either side of the steel scales, such a small and subtle detail. The paler light that runs down her lower back and bum also further define her curvaceous body so perfectly. Looking back at her mid-section though, I don't even know what to say other than to just gush about how damned perfect those muscles are! Phwooooaaaarrrr! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The definition, the tightness of the muscles, the hard edges and fantastic contrasts in light and shadow are just so expertly painted. And of course, lest it be thought that I'd forgotten, her breasts look great too, I really like the light that shines onto them from one side, contrasting against the shadows and all working to define the forms. Her clothes too look so very good with the textures of the leather gloves and belt, as well as her forearm wrappings. But the part that I like the most are the steel scales from her bra and "panties", the way they interlock and overlap, all with their own individual lighting and shadows is truly fantastic attention to detail, you even put little hooks to show how the top scales attach to the belt! The lighting and shine on the belt itself is fantastic, as are the various knots throughout the leather straps. The NSFW preview too is utterly delightful and personally, I'm very thankful that you're not using Tumblr anymore, the only reason I even had an account there was to view your previews and using the site was annoying 😅. I don't even need a Twitter account to see your previews now so this is much better and easier. And I have to ask, especially for a pinup as utterly splendid as this, might we perhaps see a voluminous and furry fluffy version for Sonja? Pretty please? 😸 Absolutely sensational work on this first painting of 2019, Dandon! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 The pose, the lighting, the colours, the background, the body and face are all utterly spectacular and such a delight to look at!

Interesting, Sonja looks very young (almost like a teenegar) in this rendition. The freckles give her a touch of inocence and coupled with the corky smile and eyeliner it makes her face seems delicate in contrast to her bulky as hell body. Its a pretty different take on this character I must say, not what you would expect considering she is portrait as a mature woman warrior in the comics. I like how you made the lake itself the background and left the tree branches to the foreground, makes the whole package much more gorgeous. Wonder if we will see something coming out of that lake tho, something wicked and full of tentacles. :P

I hate this character so much. I read part of one of her comics once. It takes place in the same world as Conan. It's supposed to be a serious, gritty story. Written in a way that you're supposed to take it seriously. BUT SHE'S WEARING A FUCKING METAL BIKINI AS ARMOR. IT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE. I would believe it if, before I looked into the character. you'd told me she existed solely for fan service in a silly fictional world (say, parodying Conan) that only existed to portray a sexy character. But she's supposed to be taken SERIOUSLY. Excuse me while I quit everything.

I've always found Red Sonja to be very, very alluring. First of all, she's a redhead. There's something about a woman with fiery red hair that gets me head over heels. Secondly, she's a strong, toned, kick-ass woman. ...And also there's her outfit, which leaves little to the imagination. XD All of those things are in this picture, and if you add her pose and facial expression, this really makes for an ideal pin-up of Red Sonja. Needless to say, I'm extremely pleased with this picture! I concur with other of my fellow patrons in that this is simply the best way to start this year off. Thumbs up, Dandon!

In all cases a bikini armour is fan service in the fantasy genre and I cannot deny that is not the case for Red Sonja, especially when it comes to comics. But I do believe she would fight naked without quarrel as too would Conan- a style of fighting that is a barbarian. Conan wears naught but a loincloth and is the greatest barbarian warrior to ever live, not to be bestest, and even ruled a kingdom at one stage. He is not for fanservice wearing near nothing at times put a proud barbarian. A confidence in ones ability in war not needing armour to protect, only skills to survive, and I think Red Sonja follows a path of Conan in fighting. I could believe her tales more if her choice of clothing was more appropriate and less fanservice, that I agree (even nothing would be better than an armoured bikini) but cannot deny her character and ability to fight without the need for armour, and being that she wears bikini armour is a fair compromise to being naked for a comic. XD

As always, your redheads are among the most visually stunning. I also like how you did not get away from the muscles. Most would draw her with just a toned abdomen. But you went and gave her powerful sword-wielding arms and shoulders as well as thick thighs of a strong lower body for movement to go along with that fit bod of hers. Simply breathtaking atmosphere as well. It's like if you stumbled upon her about ready to remove her clothing and take a dip, but now she sees you staring. Do you dare stay at your own risk?.... I'd say it would be totally worth! *o*

My hopes in terms of your art this year is to see 90's Rogue (X-Men), Claire Redfield from RE2, and Derieri from The Seven Deadly Sins.
