This is one my sister’s favorite shows, and she told me that it’s still enjoyable without having played the games before. Hopefully Stranger Things has prepared for what you’re about to embark on.

2024-02-26 06:59:02 I only played a little bit of the game, and haven't seen the show until now, but damn the scenes from the birthday gift to Sarah's death are super reminiscent of the game. I do wish they had Joel getting back home more accurate to the game though, I think it felt more natural than him arriving at the last possible second

A lot of the scenes are pulled straight from the game and I love the fact that they didn’t change much, and if you listen closely to the radio at the very beginning you hear them talking about the infection and how it spreads

They had Ellie chained up because she was infected. They had her count to 10 slowly and hold her arm out tsteady to make sure she wasn’t turning . Not sure if y’all caught that or not …

They only saw episode 1 over a year ago so they rewatched episode 1 to refresh and eps 2-9 they’ve never seen. It’s not a fake reaction it’s just a refresher and the rest of the season will be new to them

They only saw the first episode, but that was a year ago and they don’t remember it, so they’re watching it again for the first time in a year so they can refresh because if they started the show with episode 2, they would be confused with the storylines that were set up in episode one, that’s all

signed in on my cpu just to watch the reactions for this series. this first episode is special to me being as the first half of it takes place in south central texas, which is where im from, and the highway sign that says Austin -> San Marcos <- is wild AF to see cause being a San Martian its such a smaller town compared to Austin or San Antonio. The scene where Joel is trying to stop his daughter from bleeding out, and cries out to Tommy in desperation for help messes me up everytime.
