YESSS thank you i love you guys

Simon

Ouuuu a quiet place too can’t wait

imperial

I was so excited for today’s upload. I had a feeling it might be Rogue One.

Simon

Diego Luna( andor) is a amazing actor you guys just seen him in Elysium

imperial

AND we’re getting A Quiet Place, I love when there’s a tie in the polls 😉

Simon

I’m sure you know this now but they’re not clones anymore after episode 3 they become storm troopers, actual people instead of clones

Louis Melendez

I wish they would make all the Star Wars movies like Rogue One. Rogue one and the Empire Strikes back are top tier Star Wars movies

Simon

That’s the whole point of this movie, it shows the messed up things the rebels had to do to win. That’s why it’s all different characters than we know, these are the ones who had to do so much messed up stuff to help win the war

Simon

If you guys didn’t figure out by the end, the timeline of this is literally 3 days before episode 4 leading into episode 4 a new hope at the end

Joe Deluca

Ya Simon is right. This lands between ep 3 & 4 and made it possible for Luke Skywalker to achieve what he did.

Simon

Such a great reaction, hopefully one day you guys watch the obi wan show or even some clone wars

alex96

This is beautiful to come back to after camp

This is by far my favorite Disney Star Wars project. I want more of these types of stories. Btw the Empire is strongly influenced by the Nazi Regime.

The idea behind this movie was basically one paragraf of the opening crawl from New Hope (EP4) and takes place days before that movie. Gareth Edwards wanted to create a war movie, Star Wars style with heavy costs (as in.. people killed) and I think he nailed it. One of my favorite SW movies. "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet." It explains (and fix) a very basic flaw of the Death Star and how the Rebels & Luke could know and target that weakness

Unironically my 2nd favorite Star Wars movie (behind Empire Strikes Back). While I'm not a fan with what Disney did with their new trilogy, they did SOOO good with this movie. A gritty war movie set in the Star Wars universe is everything to me lol

Simon

Oh shit are we getting Spider-Man tomorrow ?🫢👀

Simon

There’s 2 but damn I forgot about those garbage movies lol

Fawks

Shang Chi, No Way Home, and GotG 3 are what's left of the good stuff. Luckily Loki season 2 is about to start because there probably won't be anything MCU that isn't total absolute pandering garbage for quite a while. Perhaps not even until Spider-Man 4.

There were pretty much "cameos". C-3PO, R2-D2, Senator Bail Organa (at the Rebell council, the "father" of lea, you saw him at the end of revenge of the sith when he said, we'll take the girl), Mon Mothma (the leader of the council, you'll recognize her the most from Episode 6 when luke arrived and they prepare to go to endor), some of the pilots were in the originals like the red leader (the fact that they showed how red five was shot down, is because luke will become red five in New Hope), then the two guys you saw on jeddha with the messed up face (that's the two from the cantina bar in New Hope of which Obi wan cut off his arm before they met han solo), Grand Moff Tarkin (who died on the first death star, they did cgi for that one) and some others.

Hood44

I’m sorry just never seen a single second of Star Wars or Star Trek. I can’t get into it.

This is one of my favorite films on an emotional scale. Seeing the unsung heroes of Rogue One fall really hit me the first time I watched it. May the Force be with them. My favorite characters overall were Chirrut Îmwe and Bodhi Rook. The Ip Man himself Donnie Yen is always a win. He’s not a Jedi, but his belief in the Force must imply that he’s Force-sensitive. Either way, he’s got the best fight choreo in the either film as well as the funniest moment when they bagged him. Also, yeah Riz Ahmed was in Venom. He portrayed Carlton Drake. You probably didn’t know this, but he also has mad rapping skills. He’s part of a trio called the Swet Shop Boys. They haven’t released much together as a group, but once you put Riz on the mic watch out. Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, and Forest Whitaker have all been in the MCU. They respectively portrayed Talos, Kaecillius, and Z’uri. Diego Luna reprised his role as Cassian Andor for the Spanish dub. He also has his own series titled Andor which takes place five years before the events of Rogue One. The first season has 12 episodes. A second season is in the works, but the strikes have forced them to put production on hold. There were also plans to make up to five seasons, but after some extensive reviewing they decided to conclude the show with season two.

Luke destroys the Death Star in a New Hope

Gareth Edwards knocked it out of the park with this film, despite the fact there were well-documented problems behind-the-scenes. Unlike anything else Star Wars that Disney has done, this truly felt like Star Wars. If only we had gotten more like this. I rarely experience chills watching modern films, but I was screaming inside during that Vader hallway scene. For a split second, I was a kid again. Disney had the blueprint and they bungled it.

Simon

Truth, except Shang chi I wasn’t a fan, it was okay

Mack Stover

Yeah, these are the reactions Star Wars fans love. You guys always go into everything blind and give awesome reactions and ratings. Honestly, this is my favorite Star Wars movie for the exact reasons you two gave for loving it.

Mitchell Smilie

I admire your optimism, but I doubt it. I don't say this lightly as someone that grew up loving Star Wars, but Disney has killed it and trampled on the corpse.

Pretty sure Tony Gilroy was a big part of bringing this movie together. He's the one they brought in to help & Diego Luna (Cassian Andor) has mentioned in interviews that Gilroy improved the story greatly... Could just be blowing smoke but after the Andor series I think it's pretty clear Gilroy was essential to Rogue One being great. Gareth had the vision but Gilroy executed it
