The reason the store clerk in Chinatown wasn’t phased at all when the Spot transported to her world is cause that’s the lady from the venom movies with tom hardy so she’s seen all the crazy shit venom can do in her store…another cool things is a 14 year old did the Lego word animation for the movie

I honestly didn’t care for this movie, I seen it in theaters and it made me decide to never go to the theater again 💀😂 but that’s just me. This movie 🐐 status!!! And right he got sent to that universe because the machine sends u back to where the spider that bites u is from, so since miles got bit by universe spider “42” it sent him to earth 42… and that’s y that universe was so bad because it never had a spider-man… but if u go back to the middle of the movie where spot is explaining how the 42 universe spider got there… before the spider gets sucked in.. it was about to bite the miles with braids in that universe! but since it couldn’t bite that miles.. it bit our miles instead so that spider was always meant for miles regardless..

interesting thing about this movie is that the first movie kind of spoiled the prowler ending. In the first Movie when spiderman from 1610 meets miles and their spider senses go off Peters spider senses are red and blue and Miles switches from Prowler colors to red and Blue indicating the switch of destiny. I believe Miles from 1610 was supposed to become the Prowler or go down that similar path but getting bit by the spider changed the way his life was going to go.

The movie was advertised as being a two part movie ever since it was announced, if you’re a fan and didn’t figure that out then shame on you. Your only reasoning for not liking it was because part one of a two part movie felt “like a filler episode”… if this were a 4 hour movie with the first 2 hours being this movie and the last 2 being the next movie you would’ve loved it. You’re just trying to be different and it’s not working. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when you start saying shit like this nobody cares about what you have to say anymore. It’s one thing to not like a movie but it’s an entirely different thing to not like one because of your reasoning. I mean if we’re going by your logic any movie that’s ever set up a sequel is filler, right? Anything with a cliffhanger that will be explored in another movie means it’s bad, right? I bet your reaction to infinity war was “wow that movie was great until the end where it didn’t feel complete, guess i hate it now” I guarantee you rewatched this and liked the movie but just didn’t like how it ended simply because you wanted to keep watching. That’s what a good movie/show/song/anything makes you feel!! It leaves you wanting more.

The movie’s writers Chris Miller and Phil Lord revealed how Spot came about and Miller explained how producer Avi Arad convinced them, saying Spot is the coolest villain with the coolest superpowers, “‘You know, people don’t realize how powerful he is,’ and then we came back around going, ‘Oh yeah, people don’t realize how powerful he is!’ And obviously, the fact that he has these portals was relevant, and we’re like, ‘Well, wouldn’t it be interesting to take a person who is overlooked as dumb, and feels left out and lonely, and wants to prove themselves? The same arc that Miles is going on, but the dark version of it.’” It amazes me how well this villain works for the story. The 3rd film (Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse) was slated to release on March 29, 2024, but due to the SAG-AFTRA strike that is currently going on the film has been removed from the release schedule until further notice. I should note that even if the strike wasn’t happening it’s almost a guarantee this movie’s release date would have been pushed back regardless since the cast hadn’t even started recording their lines yet. I know y’all want to give us your reactions to these movies and we love see your reactions but please treat yourself to seeing the next one in theaters whenever it releases. I’ve only seen a handful of movies that have given me a better theater experience than the 2 Spider-Verse movies and I’m sure the 3rd will deliver, y’all more than deserve to experience that for yourself. Edit: sorry y’all I didn’t realize I wrote a fuckin 3 page essay lmao appreciate anyone that actually read this whole thing, y’all real ones!

My only hope is that marvel and Sony get their shit together and allow Tom Holland to be in beyond the spiderverse. This movie had every single spiderman from cartoons, movies, comics and video games as well as a few that were created for the film. Thats cause lord and chris miller didn't request permission for anything else from the mcu other than the no way home mention. There wasn't a need to include tom holland's spider man in the canon events scene becuase he didn't go through any of the things in question that we've seen in the films. We didn't see him loose uncle ben, nor did we see him lose a police captain close to him cause it would've made no sense to include him
