Wes Anderson is an amazing director he said he based the setting of the grand budapest in a combination of all the Northern European states like Hungary and the hotel feels like you've seen it before because he based it off old real world hotels that he traveled too along with books about that part of the world. I thought it was a real hotel too lol he has a whole interview series about it and another fun fact owen wilson was his collage roommate so in most of his movies you'll see either he's a main character or cameo in his movies

Oh, that's such a good one! They already did Schindler's List too so I'm sure that they'll be able to handle The Pianist. Like you said, it's sad but it's an AMAZING film in every way.
