I'll never forgive Disney for rebooting this as a series without Nicolas Cage. All we've wanted for ~15 years was to find out what was on Page 47, and they went and fucked it all up.

Ed Harris really did a great job as the antagonist. He also played General Hummel alongside Nicolas Cage in The Rock.

Guys this is one of my favourite pairs of films, so glad you loved them too! For similar sort of vibes I HIGHLY recommend both Fool's Gold and Sahara - they are both similar in terms of clues and hunts and comedy. And for the puzzle solving/clue type genre I strongly recommend The Da Vinci Code and all the sequels - no comedy in them but they are excellent all the same with following the different clues and some history.
