Honestly, after this movie. Your heading into what I call the golden age of the MCU. Starting with Captain America: The Winter Soldier which is ONE OF THE BEST MCU movies. You guys are going to have a blast with what's coming!

Now that they've introduced the Aether, I could not agree more. Also, the overall quality of the movies will begin to increase by a lot up until Avengers 4, the great finale.

I erased this movie from my mind years ago. I felt it being a weak movie. BUT. It holds up. Compared to the trash released in phase 4, this is a breath of fresh air. The Winter Soldier. By far the BEST Marvel movie to date. Unquestionable. It is number 1 in all the films produced till today. Second being Infinity War. The Winter Soldier being my number one too.

This Thor movie here as weak as it is, was in my mind still part of the golden age of the MCU. What marvel has become now since phase 4 has made appreciate this movie even more than I did when I first watched it. Next up, Captain America: The Winter Soldier which is one of the top 5 best MCU movies ever made. Ya'll are in for a great time, in my opinion this is when the MCU started to hit its stride.

Yeah, Loki is a very unpredictable villain. He has an understandable reason for being the way he is. He's been lied to by those he should trust most. Plus, it seems he struggles with some heavy narcissistic traits. He's trying to stick it to his dad, while also undermining Thor, and trying (but failing) to be cold to his mom, but he loves her too much to really hurt her. And, at the end, he finally tricked Thor for the ultimate prize. Loki has his throne. Thor also now thinks Loki is dead, and Loki is King of Asgard. Which also means he did something to Odin, as Odin would not allow Loki to do this. I doubt he could kill Odin, as I don't think he actually wants his dad dead, plus..... Odin is powerful. I'm pretty sure Odin could defend himself physically against him, so he must've done something with him, we just don't know what. Yeah this movie is the lesser of the other MCU movies, but I think that's good, cause even though it is not as good as the others, it isn't that bad, for what it is. Small note, I hope you guys at least have been seeing subtitles when characters speak other languages, like the Dark Elves here. It won't be the last time other languages will be spoken, so make sure you can understand what they're saying when they speak, or a lot of movies will be much more confusing lol. 😅 We also have been introduced to some new concepts and ideas. The Tesseract and the Aether are connected somehow. We hear a new term, Infinity Stones. Apparently both The Tesseract and The Aether are Infinity Stones. And now this "Collector" has one of them, and there are 5 more, Tesseract included. I love how all of these movies but also things from the movies are connected, not just the characters. So that's something to keep in mind. So yeah the next movie, as others have said, is Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Easily top 5 best movies in the MCU, so you guys are definitely in for a treat. Can't wait for the reaction, guys!

Don't know if you guys caught that reveal at the end when they passed the Aether over to "The Collector" in the end credit scenes... But they state that it's one of the "Infinity Stones" same as the Tesseract Cube, which is basically the focal point of this film, a reveal to another infinity stone. This and other films will cultivate into what we call 'The infinity Saga". So be on the lookout for those reveals in the films!

not sure what they expected from this movie. It's good for what it was, comparing something to something else will always give it a negative connotation.
