I’m so excited for y’all to see the rest of this season! This reaction vid would be a good one for you to come back to after you have a bigger picture. 2 thoughts: 1) Why do you think that it is the responsibility of the oppressed (i.e., Subjects of Ymir on Paradis) to kill / euthanize / sterilize themselves for the sake of the oppressors (i.e., Marleyans and the rest of the world? How is Zeke’s plan somehow more noble or less violent when it necessitates the eradication of an entire people who, through no fault of their own, can turn into Titans? When you think about it in real world terms, Zeke’s position is probably pretty bigoted. 2) You mentioned that Yelena is the one who commanded the Jaegerists to fight and Onyakopon to go down and release the old crew, but if you watch closely you’ll see that wasn’t the case. Onyankopon ran down on his own volition because he understands the magnitude and isn’t at all aligned with the euthanization plan.

yeah i dont think they are seeing the deeper message of the issue with the euthanization plan. Eren has always been about freedom for himself and his people but restriciting them from having children completely flies in the face of that.

I always go back to the owls words around this time of the show and it helps me think about Eren deeper then the surface level: "To save Mikasa and Armin you must complete your mission" Eren is meant to be a mystery in season 4, but you will understand him at some point.
