In season 2, Maeve asked Ashley to be a decent human being for once. Now she finally is. Whatever her reasons, she decided to delete that footage of her survival. 18:08 and 26:38 lol hahahahahahaha!!!!!! 43:19 Hughie is a real one. He stopped relying on Temp V (this time for sure) and saved Annie in a more epic manner. Now as much as we’d like for you to jump onto season 4, we all know what’s next. We’ll see you soon for Gen V.

I'm kinda glad y'all actually called out the repetitiveness of the whole Homelander arc during the discussion segment. That really is the main issue with the show at this point. Homelander is popular, sure (for god knows what reason, the character that is, not Antony Starr), but that arc has had a good run and needs to end - personally I think it ought to have ended this season.. we've seen most of the tricks they can pull with the character, and it's basically just going around in circles at this point. It's incredibly unfortunate that a show with this much vibrancy and potential is so utterly terrified of deviating away from the source material in a manner that would actually matter.

Excited for Season 4, a season that made a select group of viewers go "Wait a minute... Has this show been making fun of me this whole time!!!" giving birth to a whole review bombing campaign... Crazy because the show has been doing this since the first Season. Would also love to see you guys react to X-Men 97 at some point. It's one of the best animated shows of the year and would make for a great contrast to the X-Men films you've been watching. 10 episodes across an average of 30 min long episodes so short watch but amazing.

Yeah same here I’m kinda ready for this show to end tbh, it’s basically become shock value and there’s barely any story anymore when it comes to homelander

What bugs me is how people tend to conflate shock value with story. No spoilers and all of that, but you see it with this new season.. people are getting up in arms (in a very ugly manner) about characters actually dealing with their respective issues - in a healthy fashion, or the opposite.. but that doesnt quite count as "story" to a fairly vocal percentage of the fandom.. apparently all we need is more exploding dicks, your mama jokes and endless amounts of "will he, wont he" when it comes to Homelander. I dont know.. maybe I've just come to expect more than what was/is on offer with this show. And I wont even touch on how the "fandom" has beclowned themselves over the last year or so in terms of their interactions with the writers, cast and all of that.

Honestly herogasm was finale worthy so I don’t put much stock into which episode is last. As long as it’s a fitting ending. Show is not perfect but it’s a superhero show at the end of the day. Show does that well.

I still think the first season of the boys was the best season, it had a really good story mixed with social commentary whilst still having the gore and violence, it didn’t overdo it like later seasons did, plus I feel like the story was cleaner when Hughie was the main character storyline

I’ve wondered how kamiko and Mav survived that blast. I’m assuming their powers don’t go instantly. Only explanation I can think of.

Even though i enjoyed this finale i think the show should've killed Maeve. It makes no sense that she survived the explosion and fall and was fine but Soldier Boy ends up getting put to sleep off screen.

This is gonna come off as somewhat harsh.. and it kinda-sorta is. Spoilers are exactly that: spoilers - IE. the deliberate (and often malicious) derailing of others enjoyment through openly writing out plot-points and arcs in advance of someone else seeing a movie, television show, anime, etc. None of that has occurred here - the closest thing you'll come to that is the equivalent of "well.. it could have been done better" - that's not a spoiler. that's an opinion.. a very deliberately obfuscated opinion no less.. with pretty much every bit of bite taken out deliberately. A vague opinion is not a spoiler. You as an individual are free to form whatever opinion you have in regards to a piece of art - and frankly speaking.. if that itty bitty bit of pushback colours things for you.. you shouldnt be discussing these things on the internet .. at all.

No, thats the point.. thats not a spoiler - had that individual told you what tricks he was up to, in detail.. that would be a spoiler.. simple as that. It's time for people to reckon with the actual definition of that word instead of trying to push some sort of blanket ban on everybody - mostly just to quell any sort of dissent. Just a comic fact that the show did different . Black Noir in the the Comics is Homelander twin brother . He not as strong as Homelander but he was the only one who could defeat homelander in the comics. But the show changed his character. I guess they didn't want nobody to be as strong as Homelander .

Yes and it was shown that that beam of Soldier Boys disintegrates Supes aswell. Remember Herogasm. He literally killed half the supes in that building who were in close proximity so Maeve definitely shouldn't have survived when she was literally holding him.

No one is denying Maeves strength but logically she shouldn't survive. She took the blast point blank in the air which would have made her human on the fall down. I doubt soldier boy would've saved her. It just feels like the writers were scared to make the tough call and kill off one of the main characters. They've been that way throughout the show. Wouldve been more impactful if they did in my opinion.

Season 4 just came out it is currently on episode 6 this week and it is a 8 episode season just like the others. If you guys want you can definitely watch it 2 episodes a week just like you have been and then be all caught up by the time season 4 finishes.

That's not at all how things have been... We have ALWAYS known there was a "bias", but the difference in this season is they are trying to make it overtly obvious while also heavily trying to imply that one political side are the "bad guys", which is basically "tribalism" and doesn't go anywhere "good" in the real world. Plus the very "random" non-built up "Frenchy" situation that was inserted and is totally out of place, and only meant to push the "gay" agenda along. Basically the show runners have decided to go with "ideology" over "fans/ratings/money"... and in the process, losing the "entertainment" aspect of the show and becoming more of a... more or less propaganda pushing piece in the entertainment industry.

Unfortunately, without spoilers, to be real with you the current 4th season isn't turning out to be on the same entertaining level as the previous 3... it's been quite garbage in comparison to be honest.. with a FAR heavier focus on ideology and tribalism inserted in it, and it's greatly taken away from the "entertainment" aspect of it. I've debated dropping the show entirely and just enjoying the first 3 seasons for what they were.

Homelander was the one that told the kid he loves him and will always be there for him (And I honestly think homelander does love his son). Butcher told him that he can't stand to look at him because of what he did to his wife. I know he only said this because he wanted to distance himself from the kid so he wouldn't hurt him, but in doing so he put him straight into homelanders hands.

Exactly. I dont hate that Maeve survived. She has been a great character throughout the show. It just didnt make sense and i just see it as a missed opportunity for the show to really move up. Meaningful deaths help raise the stakes in shows in my opinion. At the end of the day its just my opinion.

I love how some people just realized the main 'point' and who the show was 'criticizing' the entire time! That certain group of people are review bombing every episode, but it's still the most popular show currently (even above HOTD). Their negative attention has popularized the show even more
