Here's a not so fun fact. The woman who played the mom got injured in this movie. When she comes in the room with her daughter who is possessed and she got smacked and hit the wall and yelled out that scream of pain, that was a legit scream. She actually injured her back because the person pulling the cable to make her go flying pulled her so hard that she injured her back. She even stated in an interview that she asked that director not to pull her so hard as in fear of getting injured, but she stated that when the director agreed and she turned her back she felt the director and the cable pulling guy give each other a nod to do it anyway. She permanently injured her back because of this movie.
