Off topic... but not off topic. When opening a jar the easiest way is to get a strong spoon, not bendy metal handles. A teaspoon works best. Put the tip of spoon under the top of jar in the groove area. If you move it a bit left or right you'll feel an area that lets the spoon get under the lid better. Then just lightly push down on handle until it pops. Did that make any sense? It works with any jar with no chances of damaging it.
