July 21 IMPORTANT Update (Patreon)

Hi everyone.

I've got an important update to start with today.

TLDR: I am burned out and want to finish my education, so I will be slowing down my art from 2 per week to 1 per week in August as a break. I'll be focusing on making the weekly comics during this time. I will return to the normal 2 artworks per week after August, or September if need be.

Important Update:

I need a break so will be slowing down my weekly art output for the month of August to recover from artistic burnout and hopefully finish my education. I am working on writing a final paper to earn a degree and graduate. Hopefully this doesn't extend past August but it may extend into September if need be.

I will still be making art, but it will mostly be comic pages. Maybe I will work on an animation or some quicker artworks that are less rendered like the last art tip I posted:

But my main objective will be recovering from burnout and writing my paper. Here's a schedule I made:

I have been considering this for a long time and this was a tough choice to make, but I think this is the best long-term choice. On discord I mentioned wanting to take a break in July but I never did because I got inspired and made more art than I planned. I have been making art for 6 years now, but this month the burnout has hit me hard in combination with needing to finish my education. I am very close to finishing but I need this next month or two for a final push to wrap it up and finally be done with it. I am confident I will come back as a stronger artist once I've finished and have less stress in my life.

First up will be a special 100k cover for DGDO. I'm going to call it a "variant cover" even if I haven't made the real cover for it yet.

And we'll also have a 100k pinup for Ivy. I'm still working on this one right now but should have it done for the art drop on Saturday, 4pm PT, as usual.

Both will have timelapse videos as well.
