Happy Art Tip Tuesday everyone.

Here's an art tip for learning to draw figures more effectively: start by breaking down the figure as basic shapes, and then drawing the figure over it. This will help you draw a figure that feels solid and 3d, and helps with placing the details.

I use spheres for joints, cylinders for limbs, and cubes for the head, torso, and pelvis. The hands and feet can be more complex, but I keep them blocky so they are essentially cubes.
