Hi Everyone. Happy Art Tip Tuesday.

Here's a tip about stylizing your color choices for light and shadows. It's similar to my tip about nudging light colors toward yellow and shadow colors toward blue, but you can choose any color for the light and shadow colors. I'll sometimes use stylized lighting for some quicker artworks because it can set a certain mood pretty easily.

I think the key to making this work is keeping the temperatures of the light and shadows different. So if the light is warm, make the shadows cool and vice versa.

It's very easy to get too comfortable with the same lighting in every drawing, so I think it's important to mix it up every once in a while.
