Behind-the-Scenes May 2022 Week 4: Part 2 (Patreon)

Hi Deluxe Tier!

Here's some stuff I've worked on since Sunday.

1. New Summer Ivy Promo. This is what I'm going with to launch the Summer themed month in June. I'm trying to think of a good name for the month. I like alliteration, so I thought of "Sexy Summer" but that feels too easy. I also thought of "Juicy June" but I think that is too specific to Ivy. If I go with Juicy June, I'll have an alt of this painting with a wider bikini bottom so I can write "Juicy" on it like that other painting of Ivy in a watermelon bikini I made a while back. Which bee do you like? I can't decide which I like better. In case you can't tell, the one in the water is supposed to be in a little floaty ring in front of Ivy.

2. Klara WIP. Since we didn't have a tie this time, I decided to fully paint 2nd place in the poll as well. I really like the lighting and colors so far. A trick I learned for painting white objects, like the fluffy jacket, is to never actually use white. You can see I have cyan in the light and magenta/purple in the shadows instead of white or gray. That could make a good art tip one day.

3. Aunt Cass WIP. I'm trying to get an intimate feeling with the lighting in this one.

4. Carol WIP. Since this is just a sketch, this is pretty much done. I want to add the dress as an alt.

What do you think of these so far? I'm especially curious about what you think of the Ivy and Klara.
