It's been three years since I started Patreon,

I am very glad to have your support, thank you for making it happen!

I plan to start sending messages to senior supporters asking about the personal commissions, detailed description will be written in the message.

The usual personal commissions method will be discontinued.

我好像不到一年

Regarding sending messages to senior supporters, I will take turns sending messages from the most senior supporter.

KSCHhhhh

I'm afraid I can't ask you for a commission, but I respect your decision.

Leon

Wait, so is it going to be commissions in turns now? Are all patrons eligible, or do the tiers we’re in make a difference?

Anonymous

I also wonder if the tier matters

Random TeamFire

Guess, i wont get one with my 5 months, unless gumroad counts XD

jsh020

I don't really understand what this means?

caitaron

I just want to get a chance to thanks people who continue support me. Maybe I should learn from other artists, don't accept personal commissions just draw what I want ;

Anonymous

It's already been 3 years? I'm hope it will keep going for many years to come <3

VitAnyaNaked

3 years is already a long time, congratulations! You must go in the same direction for many more years, I wish you that!

I’m happy I was lucky to get a commission before you got rid of it, but idk it just kind of sucks if nobody can get it anymore. Like idk how many senior members there are but I only joined a year ago so for sure I’m way low on the list, so I hope you bring it back someday!

caitaron

I wish I had more time and energy to do what everyone wants. But in fact, I have been working overtime for years. I think I accidentally let the personal commission become the reason people support me is a mistake ;

caitaron

I saw that some people support me only for voting and personal commission, and then withdrew before the end of the month. This phenomenon is not fair to me and the supports, I tried to improve but I am still not doing well ;

Suguha Kirigaya

I know a lot of people might not like it, but perhaps it would be better to charge at the start of the month? Or at least maybe when you announce what you are drawing. It seems unfair that your system is being abused. Either way, good luck to you Cait and your senior members!

caitaron

I'm sorry that this decision made you feel bad, and heard a lot of my complaints; I put the usual personal commission in the next goal of Patreon, I think it will make me more motivated to try much harder more then now.

Anonymous

Maybe you should consider charging at the start of the month anyway. I’d be good with getting charged twice at the beginning of next month.

Anonymous

i happy with this change. i remember there is one time 4 personal commissions being selected in a month. i know that is patreon fault but i realy piss off. So i glod Cait note that.

Random TeamFire

Imo, if you have problems with people, who join just to vote, you sould make "charge upfront", or how this thing called. When patron pays when he joins. Personally, i love your artwork and you are one of two artists, who i follow for years (you was one of my first subs on pixiv).

Leon

I agree with the charge upfront. It’s a good way to keep out people who just want to abuse the votes/commission and it keeps your content from getting leaked more easily. You could also charge more for the commission; $60 is a steal considering you make multiple versions, and your art is seriously high quality.

Anonymous

Keep in mind that the patreons come from around the world. So 60$ might be a steal for you, but for others not. Personally I think it's a fair price. The pricing of art is a difficult thing to begin with. Most artist are overpricing their art in my eyes, so it's hard to find a good reference. 60$ might be the sweet spot
