ALIVE should work without these vars too but they're recommended for the best experience and more morphs & animations. They're all free VAM addons.

Great update!! In addition to bug fixes, thank you especially for the head angle work and focus tweaks!!!

Heinrich

Thanks for the consistent content!!

Rhyll

Nice. (Obligatory v69 joke)

Dakoto

Thanks for fixing the vision problem :) I ve been trying multiples times to launch vam + oogabooga but the models are too heavy... I think the only way to go is a dedicated server so i ll pass my turn for the moment.

SPQRAeternum

Even the smaller models that I recommended in my oobabooga guide? Some of the smaller models are pretty good and instant, like microsoft's phi2 or tinyllama or minichat. Probably there are better ones now, I lost track a bit. If you tried 13B models (or even higher) or models that did not have 4bit in their name, those are wasting resources. I recommend 7B models (or lower) that have 4bit (or even lower) in their name for VAM purposes. Also it's possible you might be running the AI on the CPU instead of the GPU, which would slow down responses considerably. Certainly if your GPU is not Nvidia. You can check if it's running on the cpu by looking at the task manager, performance tab, while the AI generates responses. If the CPU spikes up high, then the AI is not setup to run on the GPU and the response will be like 5-10 times slower

Dakoto

No it's running on the GPU but i only have 10gb on my RTX3080 so VAM (in a decent quality) + Ooga is a little bit too much, i ll try more models but the one i ve tested on my own were too VRAM hungry xD
