NEWS: Chat problems in Alive, VAM2 (Patreon)

For people encountering problems connecting Alive to oobabooga text-generation-webui recently, the problem is due to the API being removed a few days ago and replaced with a different API. So for people that updated recently or just installed oobabooga text-generation-webui, the current implementation will not work, basically all the calls are different. I'll check the changes out and try to come up with a solution. There is one, to use an older version of text-generation-webui, but I don't really want to recommend that to people, that's just a band-aid, not really a long-term solution.

VAM 2

For people that missed out the big news, there was a bit of a miracle this Halloween: vam officials, out of complete nowhere, gave us a date for VAM2. It was announced on discord that a vam2 beta should be out as late as October 2024.  That's great news because at the rate they're cancelling vam modders, there might be some still left by then. Exciting times!
