NEWS: day/night cycle, Alive v40, more AI chatbots (Patreon)

DAY/NIGHT CYCLE

Unfortunately I had to remake the day/night logic but on the bright side it ended up looking better than the previous attempt. Stars now use VaM's stars skybox which look great. There are also clouds floating around now which look surprisingly not bad in VR. I also tied in VaM's cityscape environments to make the city colors change based on the time of day.

ALIVE HOME SCENE

Many probably noticed Alive doesn't have an actual scene. The small demo scene it has now isn't exactly doing the plugin any favours. I could have added something more flashy like my ÆStudio scene, but the goal was to try to push for actual gameplay and move faster towards that.

I've been a bit on the fence on which way to go with this. I'd love to do so many things and you guys suggested lots of cool stuff as well. Starting with Alive v40 there's going to be a new home scene for the plugin and it will focus around the apartment asset that I released a while ago. It will try to encompass what I had in mind for Waifu-ex-Machina, but I'll keep everything just one project for simplicity sake and to prevent cringy leakers from amassing too much rat clout on my behalf.

MORE AI CHATBOTS

For people that played around with and liked the chatbot stuff from my previous post (https://www.patreon.com/posts/ai-simple-nsfw-81416524), you might also want to try the ozcur/alpaca-native-4bit model (https://huggingface.co/ozcur/alpaca-native-4bit). It's mindblowingly quick. And it should be actually a bit smarter than the previous model. It's less focused on nsfw stuff and a little more generic though.

Models can be installed with download-model.bat, select L, and then copy-paste the huggingface.co code. Then when starting up it will ask which model to load.
