Posing now has categories: Crouching, Sitting & Lying were added next to Standing to use the data from all the poses I used in AEStudio. Their most useful feature for now is to pose parts of the body and get variation on an existing pose. Doing full random poses works too but at times you might end up with weird contortions because of the physics and resetting the pose is needed. I've been working on correcting the position of the poses and added a Fix Height setting for that but it's experimental for now.

Moving the person next to you is something I felt was essential and missing from vam. You can press H on desktop now and the person will come in front of the camera. If there are multiple Person atoms in the scene, it will work only for the person that is selected in vam. This way it can be used for multiple characters with Alive at the same time. There's also a trigger for it in Actions. I have something to make it easier in VR too but it's not ready yet. The simplest solution for VR for now for big maps is to do an UIButton to person>alive>actions>MoveToCamera and link it to a VR hand with the HeadlightLink plugin made by ky1001.

Sound
levels have been adjusted, a few overlapping sounds fixed & a few new sounds have been added. Normal sex detection should be a bit better now and more interactive. I added also Eye reflections through a custom morph to make the vanilla eye reflections sharper and to improve how eye reflections in general look on lower settings. VAM on lower settings looks great for me personally except for the eyes, even with clothing item reflections:

both on medium shader, left: clothing reflection, right: alive. Vanilla reflections are somewhere in between the two in this case.

In the video I'm using Fraemework to move around in first person on desktop.

CHANGELOG v26

- NEW: added eye reflection morph & auto setup functionality; can be disabled in settings, on by default; makes eye reflection sharper, adjusts it based on the eyes closed morph to prevent eye reflection appearing above eyelids; better looking default reflections for lower quality settings
- CHANGE: added better normal sex detection & in/out movement; more squishy sounds in sync with the movement
- CHANGE: sound levels adjustments, increased volumes, more sounds for normal sex
- CHANGE: arousal system levels changed for touching & insertion for smoother gameplay
- NEW: new emotion logic for procedural sound & morphs; used for initial normal sex reaction & moaning for more expressivity
- FIX: automatically disable vanilla Auto Expressions when Alive is enabled, like on the default model when hitting reset look
- NEW: posing added crouching, sitting & lying procedural poses; dropdown to select between pose types in the Posing tab
- FIX: autoset controllers on initial load to On for key controllers (prevent issues when loading the plugin a model with Comply like the default vam scene)
- NEW: added Reset button & trigger to posing, same as vam vanilla Reset Pose
- FIX: added logic for Posing to fix controller positions relative to main controller; option is by default off, experimental
- NEW: added Static Poses: not random; all main controllers are loaded from the same parent pose
- FIX: fixed spank reactions overlapping & cleaned some sounds
- NEW: Added move person to camera functionality: when H pressed person moves in front of the camera and remains on the original height level & rotation; if there are multiple Person atoms in the scene, the H shortcut will only work if that person is selected in vam. If it's just one person it works all the time
- NEW: Added new Action MovePersonToCamera that can be called with a trigger and does the same as the above, moves that person 1m in front of the camera
- FIX: Fixed issues with desktop clicks not registering at some random angles/scene positions even after the v18 fix

So far this plugin is amazing, my models feel a lot more alive but the only problem I have is blinking seems to freeze. I tried turning on Auto blink from the Vam settings but the check box goes back to unchecked instantly. Is there a setting im missing?

SPQRAeternum

Thank you! Alive overrides the VAM auto blink, it forces it to Off to prevent interference/double blinking. Something that might cause the eyes to stay closed is other plugins/triggers forcing the Eyes Closed morph to go to max. When the blinking system sees the eyes are fully closed and it was not caused by an Alive blink, it stops blinking. That's to allow sleeping, keep eyes closed commands, etc. and prevent Alive blinking to always open the eyes and make it impossible to have the model with the eyes closed. But I'll check to see if I notice anything unusual with it

SPQRAeternum

1. download both vars and put them in /AddonPackages 2. you might need to restart vam or click Hard Reset if it's already open, to find the new files 3. add the plugin on a Person atom, pick SPQR.SPQRAlive.v26 and select Alive.cslist maybe you were looking for it in AliveResources, that's just the sound files, poses, etc.

Easily the best! This version is great!

I built a very simple scene today with a good room and good characters. Then I added Vinput Auto-thruster and it worked pretty good. After that I added Alive 26 and the girl automatically came to life. I felt like Dr Frankenstein and wanted to holler "She's ALive"! This plugin makes it possible to quickly assemble scenes with characters that actually seem alive. I am very impressed!
