There is a short series called "Akito the exiled" that covers some events inbetween seasons 1 and 2 but it is not really recommended to watch it until completing the main series as it contains spoilers. You may want to consider upping the number of episodes per week to three since the second season goes even crazier than this and not having everything fresh in your mind may make things a bit confusing, I remember having no idea about wtf was happening for half this season when I first watched it lol

Im so glad you're enjoying R2 so much already. It's extremely confusing, a lot of shit happens, a lot of new characters. Just take your notes and keep pressing play. It allll gets explained. AND THERES A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT to come.

I personally like season 2 even more than 1 but I think it is because of such a great ending. Alot of people don't like Rolo but I end up liking him after the first few times watching the show.

The people behind the scenes knew, that they will never get another chance to show us Karin in a bunny suit, that's why they put all that effort into showing it to us, bless them for it Why is Nina alive? Good question. I wouldn't mind if they had left her out either. To think that Guilford was forgotten too. Cornelia's knights are really getting a harsh treatment. Bombing an embassy has serious consequences. If it was done in real life, it would mean a war against not just the country whose embassy was bombed, but other countries too. An embassy is a kind of a neutral place without considerable military protection. It would be like attacking civilians of another country in the eyes of the public. Also Britannia is already has to concentrate his forces on the fight with the EU and needs forces stationed in the conquered Areas too. Having too many fronts to fight could lead to destruction of the whole empire.

I like watching your reaction and how you keep guessing at things. The cool thing is most of the things you try to guess can be guessed correctly if you digest all the information you are given. I will not confirm or deny anything and let you keep guessing. When you ask yourself if the brother is the person who kidnaped Nunnally there is a way to confirm or deny that 100% if you have all the facts memorized from what you have seen only. And there are plenty of situation likes this in the show which start popping up once you see it for a second and a third time and that feeling is amazing. This is one of the many things that makes this anime so good.

Btw, the bunny girl outfit (with the heart and bows) Kallen is wearing is a reference to the character Erina Goldsmith from the fighting game Variable Geo. Takahiro Kimura did the character designs for both the game and Code Geass. I've never met anyone who knew this Easteregg before I brought it up. Anyways, R.I.P. Takahiro Kimura, he passed away last year. One of my fav character designers of all time.

At this point in history, the Britannia Empire is only in conflict against the US (Europia United) and the survivors of the Black Knights, with the Chinese Federation remaining neutral. Just like in the real world, foreign consulates and embassies are territories of these countries and any aggression on this soil would cause a diplomatic incident. Putting it into context, there are 3 international superpowers in the world of Code Geass, The Holy Britannian Empire (North and South America plus the former British colonies with the exception of Australia which is independent), the Chinese Federation (Continental Asia) and Europia United (Europe, Russia and part of Africa, which would be the former French and Dutch colonies).

You should watch code geass WITHOUT a 6 days pause every 2 episodes. Especially with all the other animes you watch, you forget so much about code geass. I mean, you could not even remember princess Cornelias knight ^^' And it just starts to become more and more complex.

tbh, I really don't like this over sexualization of Kallen! they used to do it in a smaller scale but ow it's too much, let strong women be strang women bruh! a lot of animes starts with a badass amazing girl character and in future seasons they start to be much more sexualized and in soe cases it just turns to be a harem like SAO... Asuna badass asf and in the end of first season is just a lover shy and hot

Yeah I get that with the nudity, it's just the camera angles in 2 that drive me crazy. Every time the camera switches to Kallen the focus is her boobs or ass. Just isn't for me personally
