The woman in the prison is Nagisa Chiba, one of Tohdoh's Four Holy Swords. The flashing lights on the Knightmare's "eyes" probably give pilots more visual range and sensory information that what their mechs passively take in, which would be stuff like radio frequencies and transmitted data.

One great thing about CG is that it takes its time to slowly build up at the start, to worldbuild. MT does the same thing, but much more.

Based on the information given to us in this Episode, it appears as though there is some memory manipulation at play here and Lelouch is being used as bait to draw out C2(C.C.). Going by it we can conclude the following things. - Suzaku captured Lelouch in Season 1. - Suzaku must have taken Nunally with him to the Emperor, as we saw him in front of the Emperor. - Who is the brother? - Is Viletta also acting on orders from the Emperor as those guys who tried to kill Lelouch were? Or is her memory also been wiped, again? - As there has never been a mention of alternate worlds, but many cases of memory loss/manipulation, there is no reason to assume it is anything more than that. - Why are they using Lelouch as bait to draw out C2(C.C.), when he is the biggest terrorist the world has ever known? What is her true importance and why does the Emperor want her? Obviously I know the answers to these questions, but as you seem to have trouble following the story, I felt the need to make sense of the information given to us in this Episode and from the previous Season.

You should already know that Kallen knows Lelouch is Zero because she was there in that final Suzaku/Lelouch confrontation, when Suzaku shot and broke Zero's helmet. You seem to be forgetting who the imprisoned moody brown haired girl is the 2nd time now. She is one of Tohdoh's Four Holy Swords. To remind who the Four Holy Swords are to hopefully avoid future confusion: - Chiba: The imprisoned brown haired girl you couldn't remember. - Urabe: The blue spiky haired guy at the beginning of the episode, leading the remnants of the Black Kights with C.C., shouting "Long live Japan!" - Senba: Did not appear in this episode, but it's the white haired guy with the very weird face and a nipple on his forehead. - Asahina: Also was not in this episode but was seen a lot before. He has sleek greenish-black hair and round glasses.

Just gonna recap all the (Non spoiler) changes for funsies, bc Luke actually nailed most of em: - Viletta is now a teacher? She used to be a Knight of the Rounds, along with orange boy, Jeremiah Gottwald - Lelouch has a brother now, Rolo. - No one has said anything about Nunally? - Shirley is once again day-dreaming about the love of her life, with seemingly no opinions on his time as Zero - We never saw Nina? - Kallen seems to recognize Lelouch as Zero, given how she protected him and knelt before him. - One of the Four Swords is also acting in service of Zero - CC claims to still have a contract with Lelouch - Suzaku, apparently, now reports directly to the Emperor What is happening? I know, but you'll have to wait and see!

It's perefectly normal to be confused here lol When I watched this episode for the first time I thought that I've skipped a whole season or two. It was a very bizarre expirience. Also I can fully agree with you that Code Geass is an anime that just keeps getting better and better (until it becomes a measterpiece) so I'm really excited to watch these reactions all the way to the end.

Regarding the devour line, Lelouch was just using word play since the mafia guy noted that the "strong eat the weak". So its not a mistranslation he was being coy by asking if he was going to "devour her" however yes the subtext for that is exactly what you thought it was.

Well, i am glad ppl like this show, but i feel kinda bad for Luke that is gets so few likes on Patreon. I hope the show wont effect him in a bad way. Mushoku before had over 250 likes almost every video (give and take) Code gets a lot less likes... After reading the comments i see some very trusted fans, but i am kinda surprised the number is so low. I hope season 2 gets more likes and more attention :) Personally i dont like Code Geass BUT i still like every video since i wish Luke all the best! :)

In Japan to eat someone is used sometimes as an expression for having sex with them, so Lelouch asking the guy if he’s going to devour the women is him indirectly asking if he’s going to make them have sex with him. If you remember that one Hololive MV for the song Shinkiro, with Gura and Marine that ends with Gura eating Marine in one bite, cut to them in bed together naked is meant to imply they had sex too as another example of “eat them aka have sex with them”.

Really wish you'd switch to the dub for season 2. The plot gets really convoluted from here on in. We're talking Game of Thrones convoluted. So many new players and factions will be joining the fray it can be hard to keep up If you paying super close attention. Which is hard to do while filming.
