Re:Zero Endings next please! Make sure with the lyrics this time Akuma No Ko is my favorite, I started watching aot after season 1 finished so I didn’t have to wait all of the 4 years in between seasons luckily after season 3 ended I started reading the manga

BTW, this is why I don't worry about spoilers when watching openings and endings. Either you couldn't get the meaning of what they show until it happens in the series... or they --want-- you to know. Suspense instead of shock. 8:24 They show the Female Titan but they don't show the Beast Titan's beast. Racism! (g) 13:04 "We never get to see that (Annie v Mikasa) fight." It never happened. It was stopped by whoever was running the training and everybody went back to the barracks. That's what the writer said in an interview.

Since you love ending 6 so much, could you react to the english cover by LeeandLie (AmaLee)? It is sooo beautiful and the lyrics just hit different after knowing the ending (presuming it is sung from Erens perspective). Her cover of "Call of Silence" from AoT is also VERY beautiful. Highly recommend checking out both of them.

To be fair, most anime music is interlinked with the story. AoT's are awesome though that's for sure. Anime puts a lot more emphasis on original high quality music than probably all other mediums.

for me it was that there was a scene of mikasa looking at a female praying mantis when she was younger and a female praying mantis is known for decapitating their partner.

If it makes you feel any better Luke, that vision Mikasa had at the end about living in a house with Eren - well that dream actually lasted about 4 years - so technically she did get that ending thanks to Eren - which is likely why she wasn’t bawling her eyes out like Armin after the battle - she got the memories back and remembered already coming to terms with it.

You should react to the full version of ed 7 “Akuma no Ko” with subtitles. The lyrics throuhout the entire song perfectly describes Eren and so soo beautiful. Really hits eve more than the short ver already did.

I didn't even know there was an 8th ED. I thought it was just the epilogue and that was it.

Most people actually missed and not realised that mikasa and eren lived already 4y of relationship, as shown in last episode: mikasa being there and crying in that dimensional plane. Eren was suppose to die either way cuz he was a titan, so choosing to kill humanity to live with someone a few years WHICH YOU ALREADY DID LIVE WITH HIM in the dimensional plane, the dream of couple with him, and you both agreed it's over, welp make no sense to pick him again since you'd just suffer even more after he's dead. For both mikasa and eren they had their relationship status goal achieved so.... ik some people are sad but they already lived that happiness since time there pass different.

2:30 Of course I know what you mean. And yeah I feel it too. And attack on Titan is, to me, the best show when it comes to make the openings and endings forshadowing, without even spoiling a bit. I think you didn't recognize the first, simply because at the end of an episode, they often start to play the ending song for the last few seconds of the show, but they never did for the first ending. Only for those after. Yeah no, me too, it took me a couple of rewatch to fully grasp the clues on AoT, and some are still depending on your feels and interpretations of it. Next thing for me, will be to read the manga to see if there are more tiny details in it. For me the best ending (the one that will stick to my head all the time) is Akuma no Ko, because of the lyrics. Just... go check the lyrics of the full song, it'll kill you a second time Luke. Oh speaking of, she did a first take of this song !! You need to check it out !!!

One suggestion for the future I have is that you could try to look for the OPs and EDs that have subs for the lyrics when you revisit them. Gives you a much bigger meaning and understanding.

Yeah Luke got that. he actually reacted to the Endings after 6 months of starting attack on titan. On his fist reaction to endings you can actually see he called it foreshadowing.
