Fun fact: The reason there is so much pizza in the show is that Code Geass was heavily sponsored by Pizza Hut, which is why C.C seems to be obsessed with and is always ordering pizza. In the original run in Japan all the Pizza-Cartons in the student council room and when C.C. ordered Pizza had Pizza Hut Product placement on them, but these logos were later removed for US and EU distribution, which is why all the Pizza Cartons now are just blank.

About the conversation that Lloyd wants to marry Milly Ashford (The student counsil president) is because they are talking about the blue mech, is owned by the Ashford family, and that is the last existing third generation frame, discontinued after Lady Marianne died (Nunally and Lulu's mom, she was a Knight). So Lloyd only wants to marry because they have that mech, and to study and improve upon it. About the comments at the end about Lelouch plans... he does have a lot of plans like playing chess and anticipating many moves ahead, but what Euphemia did was something Brittania would NEVER EVER do, and that's the wild card that no one expected, it is a bad move and Lelouch commented on how he tought of that but realized it was bad, so it was discarded as a possibility, but Euphy is a wild card

What Lloyd and the student council president were talking about was the mech being used to make the pizza dough. He was saying that back in the past that mech was one version that future mechs could be based on, but because it was used by the now deceased Lady Marianne (I believe it has been said who that is by now but just in case, I won't say anymore) they stopped producing that model and so now you could call that mech a collector's item. Milly's, the student council president, family owns that mech. So she is saying "the only reason you want to marry me is to get that mech". Lloyd is a mech scientist, he just wants that mech so he can study it and that's why he agreed to marry her

Ashford Academy owns this heretical design, marrying the Ashford President's daughter gives the scientist Earl guy access to this. Euphys idea is actually not a bad idea since it was approved by her older brother. The idea of being rounded up doesn't really apply to this situation but I can see why you think that. It's not what a lot of the Japan want but there are plenty of people who would be happy with just being able to live in peace as Japanese again in the autonomous zone. That's why they highlighted the split opinions in the slums early in the episode. Can't wait for next weeks reaction.

Think of the blue robot as a limited edition discontinued model. Glasses guy wants to get his hands on it to research it hence why he is marrying the student president who has the only copy, as far as we know. So glasses assistant was like yeah he has no interest in woman, just his little robot toys. Lulu's plan is to make Japan independent again. He is making backroom deals and expanding his forces/influence in the background. Euthy however, beat him to it by publicly announcing a special (racist free) zone within conquered Japan. We saw how that went in America a couple years ago. Anyways, since she is an important government member, some people will believe it. We all know how bad this can easily go. It's like publicly announcing you support terrorists and want to overthrow the current government. Sure, let's gather them all together in one place. Euthy might have good intentions, but she is an idiot. The only ones who will believe her are fans of her (for her kindness to Elevens) and fans of Suzaku, who is showing it is possible to gain rank and fame in a system ruled by Brits. Which we know is a lie and he is just there to show that the system is fair. Let's not forget she just suddenly announced it without consulting anyone else in the government or royal family. She might be a bureaucrat of the people, but does she really have political power? If zero announces his plan to make japan independent, it would just seem like he was copying Euphy on a larger scale. If Euphy's small independent nation fails, who would want to back a plan that's basically the same but like a thousand times larger?

Marianne wasn't an ashford she was a commoner who became a knight and later a wife of the king, the ashford family was only her strongest supporter and they lost a lot of power when she died

Did no one notice the girl in the witch's costume with bat wings was STILL drawing marks on the wall? I found that hilarious with everything else that was going on! And Suzaku should have really thought about picking Euphemia up as he did--everyone could see up her skirt.

I believe at some point Lelouch also mentions that Lamperouge is his mother's maiden name. (I could be totally wrong though) One can assume it's probably as common as "Johnson" or "Smith" since I doubt he'd want to take the name of someone who married into royalty.

I love this last scene so much! A chess master beaten down by an opponent who barely thinks one step ahead, his careful plans laid to ruin by fruitless dreams and wishes. Euphimeia is truly a top-tier character. Every other sibling, Lelouch ruthlessly fights against, but Euphy is too pure and good-hearted for him to outright kill. And yet she paves the road to hell with her intentions. I love Euphimeia. I hope one day I can write a character like her.

I think, in terms of lelouch’s big plans. It’s not that he doesn’t have any, it’s that people keep throwing curveballs at him that make him adjust his overarching plan. For example in this episode, he kept trying to plan a coup in between the festival planning. But not gonna lie, the first time I watched the show I also didn’t realize that lelouch had any real plans beyond reacting to others’ plans. This show has soooo many blink-and-you-miss-it throw away one liners that actually have Huge story implications. its pretty wild rewatching this show and thinking "holy cow they hinted at such-and-such happening like 15 episodes ago and i never realized 🤯"

Damn. With Luke's ranting about what that conversation with the student council president and the scientist dude meant, I think I finally figured out the meaning behind that!!! Probably, she's an Ashford, and they are the people that Lelouch and Nunnely were living with to hide, and i'm pretty sure that was his mother's maiden name before she married the emperor. Can anybody tell me if i'm right or wrong about that? If so, I feel an unnecessary amount of satisfaction from that brain work!!! More than likely, I just missed some obvious info, just like our dear Brit here.
