This is one of my favourite anime and I had so much fun rewatching it along with your reactions. I've watched it so many times but you asked questions I'd never really considered and that just helps me love the series more. Thanks! Also, apparently I've gotten over crying every time I watch this episode 😅 I'm so glad you could still love and appreciate this series despite the hate - thank you for persevering with it!!!

I enjoyed Parasyte and liked your reaction to it a lot, but there's just some parts of this series that really take away from the experience and some parts either don't make much sense or are quite stupid. So for me it ended up as just okay series and something that had potential to be a lot better than what it is now. Still enjoyable but I'd give it like 7/10 max. And yeah different fanbases can have very different reactions to opinions of others and I'm sorry you had bad time with this because of them.
