Yo Luke when you finna start the Naruto journey ? Part 1 has 220 eps but only 125 are canon and the rest of the 95 eps are filler. Part 2 (aka shippuden) has 720 eps but only 500 are canon. So even at 3 eps a week we talking nearly a year just to finish the 125 eps of part 1 that are canon so the sooner you start the better my guy 😅 & btw you HAVE TO WATCH IT IN JAPANEASE WITH ENGLISH SUBS. Do not listen to people that say dub is good Naruto literally sounds like an annoying 7 year old even in shippuden in dub and everything is just so forced & cringe lmao. This coming from someone that grew up watching it in English on toonami and Cartoon Network

I want naruto instead of one piece, I support your comment. Yet I disagree. 1) he needs more money 2) why? cuz he needs an editor 3) why? cuz he edit himself, and he edits 3-6+ hours, he watches stuff 2 hours. He doesn't have time to react for more stuff 4) why? cuz pretty much he works 8h/day + he's a dad which means he has 2 jobs already. 5) If he suddenly would make triple the money, I bet he would get an editor, he would suddenly get extra 3-6h time to react for extra content a.k.a your naruto wish 6) How can he make more money? make your friends watch his videos, subscribe, or share his videos to get more views/subs. If he get triple the subs/views, brands offer more offers, more money,etc. More brands mean more money means he get editor and you get naruto. So instead of asking, you know now what to do :D. Ps: There's a risk, he starts naruto, it does low views, he has to stick to naruto, same for one piece. He doesn't want to take that risk. Hell's paradise does 3-5k views? who cares, it's only 12 videos, and not 750. He'd rather make a mistake of 12 videos than a mistake of 750 videos. When you think of all of this, if he would live in some poor country then he would be rich and afford an editor Hope you understand.

i wanna see him react to Naruto aswel and theres major push for Once Peace reaction but as he stated multiple times he is currently aiming to watch as many animes as possible. Also FMAB is 51 episodes and Re:Zero is on the queue. Theres also Overlord which is 52 episodes and probably then we will get another poll for main slot anime. Id say next year maybe you get the chance to vote for Naruto main slot :D

I don't shit on 86 or Hell's paradise either, and did watch both. My opinion of both is just they are ok without any strong feelings towards them. And I can easily see why other people might really like them. But they did just not captivate me, and I'm well past the point where flashy combat or emotional anime can excite me (think I just got numb over the decades, and this is a me problem^^). As I said, I can see why someone really likes them and more power to you, watch what makes you happy :). If it weren't for Luke's reactions, I would have never watched them a second time. Also I only read/heard praise about those two anime, I dunno where ppl are slamming them.

Same, nearly every reactor I watch has reacted to this anime and enjoyed it, and it seemed pretty popular when it came out. Heavenly Delusion seemed to have slightly lower viewership, despite being amazing as well.

It isn't rated poorly, just not mainstream so it gets forgotten. Like Luke saying how bad the viewer numbers are for these (but this is compared to big hitters). Hell's Paradise is a solid anime, like 8/10 or so.

Agreed! The only thing negative I've heard (which I also feel the same about), is in the last episode (no spoilers...shhhhh). It feels unnecessary, but still works...but takes away from the progressing story. Perhaps it's meant to slow things down a bit.

Jigokuraku got shit on mainly cause people like to shit on Mappa whenever they have junky animations (which did happen in this anime a couple times). There isn't much hate though, it's mainly anime twitter that's just dumb asf 99% of the time (add myanimelist community to that as well). When the show was airing you could see people getting mad at times I remember that. Bottom line is anime fans and weebs don't deserve rights

Yeah - after watching a lot of anime I can tell pretty quickly when one isn't going to be interesting to me. There's nearly always someone who'll be a fan and sing its praises though. Hell's Paradise, 86 and FMAB are just not for me, but it's good to see so many others enjoying them. There's enough other stuff to keep me interested - e.g. Mushoku Tensei, (upcoming) Madoka Magica, Parasyte and Re:Zero I'd like to see a bit more balance in the content though - e.g. some SOL, comedy, romance...

I don't really understand why Luke feels he has to watch every episode of a long anime without a break. Such long anime are already broken into seasons, and they can usually be broken down further. So he could, for example, watch a season (or part of) and then poll to see if there is sufficient interest in continuing. This would mitigate the risk of embarking on a long anime that might turn out to be unpopular (or become tedious over time) - as well as allowing other short content to be slotted into breaks in the longer animes.

I would like some older stuff maybe. And some wholesome/lighthearted shows, I dunno why but I really like "Girls und Panzer", "Reincarnated as a Spider", "GATE" and "Reincarnated as a Sword". I think those are for sure a bit older but enjoyable.

The movie you were looking for is Annihilation from Alex Garland. I loved it. But yeah it's strange, and sometimes creepy af. ps: And yeah 86 is a reaaaally good anime. I'm more mixed about Hell's Paradise, which I enjoyed watching. It works, but that's about it.

The seiyuu for the male tensen is Sukuna's seiyuu and yes, they don't have nipples just for TV, if you're interested Luke, they have nipples in the manga XD

The Tensen actually don't need nipples, because they don't make babies, so them not being there in the TV release makes hella sense.
