In my opinion, mahito's potential and evolution speed is insanely high. If he keeps getting stronger at the speed he's at, he could potentially end up on the same level as sukuna. Also, as strong as mechamaru was, he was only a first grade sorcerer going against a special grade, it was never going to end well.

The way simple domain was used here is like fighting fire with fire. Even if its a small "simple" flame, it's still is hot enough to melt things. Remember when Gojo said the most effective way to deal with a domain is to lay out your own? Simple Domain isnt refined enough to dominate the whole barrier space inside of Mahito's domain but if the technique is in a tube and used to stab mahito then inside of mahito's stab wound is a simple domain casted where his soul can be damaged because it neutralizes Mahito's soul shape shifting technique.

The reason why they aim to trap Gojo inside the Prison Realm instead of just killing him is because killing him is way beyond even a pipe dream, so they arent even going to bother killing him because they know it would be impossible.

Since there isn't a Jujutsu Scroll, Let's have a Jujutsu Lesson instead. Jujutsu Lesson Simple Domain is a domain WITHOUT Technique imbued in it. It is a domain meant to be used as defensively when pulled into a domain creating a circle around you that prevents the the Cursed technique from hitting you by letting the technique be absorb by the empty domain. i.. dont think they ever explained the.. pins that were lowering the veils.. both here and in season 1 :D could someone explain ?? without spoilers please ? :D i get that its basically a cursed object.. is it like.. a tool for people who cant/dunno how to lower a veil ? like you just put some cursed energy in it and veil is made ? :D + you can make some special effect with it on the veil like who can enter/leave etc.. or has it some deeper meaning.. Setting a veil with condition usually requires alot of cursed energy and takes alot of time. The nails is just acts as a control tower to do it faster and more efficient. Destroy it and the veil disappears. You still need to know the basics of deploying veil to use it and it has no deeper meaning

Awesome...loved this reaction. But, did you not watch the movie? I know as much as you do, but I can clearly see 3 sides to this. Sorcerer side, Curse side, and Geto side. Geto is totally playing the curses with the hopes that them fighting sorcerers will weaken them to the point at which he can obtain them for himself (brilliant plan btw). Geto's veil keeps people who can see the veil from being sucked into the train station too. it's like...really awesome..but really basic.

Were we just introduced to a girl who liked Yuji in the last episode so she could be on the train with Mahito or something? I feel like we were introduced to her for bad things to happen to her. DX This isn't really related to this episode, but I was wondering (manga readers: don't actually tell me if I'm right or not)... is there a reason Sukuna looks so similar to Yuji when inside his own domain? It might just be because he's in Yuji's head, which is what I figure we all assumed... but could there be more to it? o_O ... Then again, maybe he'll just look less and less like Yuji in there as he gets more fingers

This is so late but I have to answer this because it made me laugh but the girl who liked Yuji literally is never seen again, as far as I am aware. I think it was just meant to be a silly little thing. Also, Sukuna looks like Yuji because he is in Yuji's body. If he were to transfer his soul to another body, he would look like them. We're not yet meant to know what full-form Sukuna will look like at this point in the anime. You may have already found all this out since it's been such a long time but yeah, the girl that liked Yuji just made me laugh. It's like Gege just completely forgot she was ever a thing.
