Also it really needs your attention, so in the regard wouldn't be that good twitch reaction (it could be twitch safe maybe, since there isn't really straight nudity, ie no nipples, but there is some close calls and talks about forced sexual stuff, etc.)

regarding the prononciations,the thing is even if they are written is a specific way (let's take Ghislaine for example, which has German roots), since it's an overseas name it'll usually be written in katakana (ギレーヌ), which reads and prononces how they say it in the anime (in romaji it will be girēnu). Same with the Superd tribe. IIRC, the subs vary from Sperd to Superd throughout the anime, in japanese it will be written スペルド　(I think), which in romaji reads Superdo. the Demon Continent arc is probably the best content we've had out of the anime adaptation so far, can't wait to see your reaction to it

Care for a quick japanese lesson: "sore wa mou" isn't actually "thank you". The literal translation is a bit difficult since "mou" has different uses, but the overall meaning in this specific case would be "well... pretty much yes! (thank you for seeing it that way)". So yeah, literally it is not "thank you" but is the closest adaptation to adjust the meaning in this case.

I really hope for Fate, Evangelion, or Code Geass. All are great options. Another one to toss in there is Kara no Kyoukai:The Garden of Sinners. Its a short movie series with most being 1hr episodes but it is amazing. Not the most popular but an underated gem from the same writer and animation studio as Fate Stay/Night. Verry good

I feel the same way about K-On. I think he'd enjoy it (and we could do with something lighter for a change of pace), but sometimes our favorites just aren't going to get recognized. There's so much else out there to compete against.

People struggle to understand how to pronounce names because they don't understand that the show isn't necessarily pronouncing the name correctly. Its all in the accent. Ghislaine isn't a Japanese name therefore the Japanese dub isn't going to pronounce it 100% correctly. They like to add odd vowel sounds to the end of words that end in consonants, even if they have silent vowels.

Yeah, I know he will definitely like it. I'm not being selfish in asking for it. But he didn't strike when the iron was hot when a lot of people were also asking for it. It seemed all set to follow Hellsing Ultimate from how he was talking about it. Then Made in Abyss came along with a bunch of new fans and shoved it aside and now it barely gets a mention. He promised he will eventually watch it but at this point it feels it'll take years. It missed it's best chance and now it's doomed to be in limbo.

My recommendation for a follow up to mushoku tensei is Devil Man Crybaby. It has some 18+ themes in it and is a fantastic 10 episodes that only belongs on patreon. However you mentioned Code Geass and I also have to vote for that as well. It is up there in my top 10 and deserves to be watched asap as well.

Literal translation of "Sore wa mo" would be "that's it too", in this case it's used in a "yes we are" way, it makes sense in Japanese.

dunno if its already been said, but the writer actually wrote 2-3 different languages for the story. So Demon god is actually a different language than japanese. thought it was a cool thought to give the story a lot more depth

as far as I'm aware "sore wa mo" (それはも) translates to "that too" which would be the better translation considering what Rudy was thinking but translators are only given text, so they can't assume the context if it's not in text

Since so many ppl think of Highschool DxD, when he said: "red haired woman with her boobs out", I have to say I think he's referring to elfen lied. Mainly because he mentioned Highschool DxD a lot in previous videos and since he watched many ops and eds of it, it definitely left more of an impact than elfen lied.

I'm not sure why you think that Ruijerd and the Superd are not strong, but they most certainly are. You are correct that the main reason that people fear them is because of indiscriminately attacking people, but without them being really strong, they wouldn't elicit the same level of fear. Also there is another reason that you will discover/get clarity on soon enough. For the next patreon series there are a few that are similarly popular that I think would work well. The red hair character could be from Gurren Lagann. I would also add in Berserk as a possibility, or maybe Food Wars. Prison School is very much patreon only, though I don't know if it is quite as popular as the other three.

Could Geass would be a great anime to react to. It's one of the forever popular anime classics, but I don't remember it having content that would make it a patreon only. A few things: Rudeus called him "father" (it's translated as father-in-law based on the meaning), as if he was married to Roxy. A lot of times in anime with comedic elements, they use it as a cliche, where the father gets angry at the potential boyfriend (like who are you calling your father-in-law", being a protective father). When Rudeus answered to the "You two seem to be close.", the 'sore wa mo" is probably a shortening of "sore wa mochiron", and it means more along the lines of "(That is) of course.", rather than "Thank you.". Sometimes the translations are a bit odd when it's a short answer, but that may be the more natural answer for a native English speaker so I'm not sure as I'm not one myself. Btw, I think if the superds were only violent, and not strong, then they would have just been killed long ago and Ruijerd said it so himself, that they felt like they had no worthy enemies during the war.

Evangelion is an interesting one. It starts of an top tier mecha anime but develops in to something deep and complex after. Very much a anime that needs lots of focus. Hence why not many react to it.

For a patreon exclusive... yeah, Fate/Zero and the three Stay Night would be a good idea. Keeps you focused (you'll need it) and you'll avoid troubles since Fate is... Fate. But the Monogatari series is a good option as well. I don't know Evangelion yet , since I detest mecha animes, but maybe I'll try watching it with you as well. OH ! And Netflix's CASTLEVANIA ! It's a really well done series ! I don't know for sure if you'll like the Monogatari series since it's quite unique, heavy, and kind of bizare. But if you like the first episodes, you will definitly like the rest. I'm 150% certain you'll love Fate and Castlevania tho, based on your previous reactions.

I'll second Code Geass, since those choice 3-4ish scenes (out of 50 ep) would be problematic on twitch. CG reactions are also seeing a revival on Youtube the last couple months (using mild censorship). Not sure why that's happening, but you might be able to attract viewers off that as viewers outpace/outlast content and look for additional reactors.

Ruijerd was a commander in his army and actually persuaded his men to accept the new spears, they used to use their old tails as spears as once they were an adult their tails fall off and are Lon and pointy and stiff like a spear. The chief of Migurdia is the only one who can speak the language of man-god tounge. This way he can communicate with others verbally. As none of the rest have the ability to do so

I totally agree with you that fate would be a great anime to react to, but I believe with all my heart as a big fan of the fate series for 10 years that fate zero is not the best option to start in the universe of fate, since fate zero It ruins one of the biggest surprises of fate 2006 and I think that fate 2006, despite the fact that its animation is not the best, is the best to start with, since it explains in detail and very intelligently the rules and details of the entire story and lays the foundations in the best way for two of the most important characters in the entire series, in my opinion of course

Oh yeah, i totally agree with you ! I wasn't trying to say he should watch Fate/Zero first But still, I see so many people just saying to watch Zero even as a standalone and skip 2006 FSN. I wouldn't want that, but I'd prefer that as not watching Fate at all, so when I talk about it, I always mention both kind of "separately". Once they're interested I mention they should start from 2006 FSN tho :3 Plus, getting to know the quality of Zero and going back to the first FSN kinda hurts on multiple points, so it's not a good idea as well if someone plans to watch the four of them

Gee-lane, is how i pronounced her name. Alot of answers contains spoilers so i won't say anything but they will be answered in the next few episode. Also Rujierd is strong, Stronger than 95% of the people we have seen so far including Ghislane and Paul. As for what to react to, I really don't know which is allow or not allow on youtube other than the ecchi series but i hope it will be something fun. Really liking all the series being reacted to now like jjk, Mushoku, 86, Eminence & FMA.

As for patreon exclusive series, I kinda want Highschool of the dead, cause it is similar to mushoku in the sense that It was so controversy when released but despite so many years, it still considered a very good anime even after so long. I'm not sure he is actually stronger then Ghislaine but everyone else for sure. Sword King is definitely not a small title. I wouldn't be surprised if they are on par though, however I do not know exactly because the show has not given an official rank on his power level so its hard to say. I also have not read the LN so I'm basing this entirely on what the show has shown us thus far.

After watching this show I think you will come learn that a core concept of this show is about humanity and perspective. I think Ruijerd a great example of a character that you are lead to believe all these awful things about but when you finally meat you realize that he is nothing like what the legends say and that their is always more to the actual truth and that it is always worth opening up your perspective a bit and not taking everything at face value. There is a lot of really fascinating allegory in Mushoku Tensei. If you really take the time to understand what the author is trying to say beneath the surface of this show you will come to understand that there is a lot of really valuable life lessons with this show. If your ever interested the author of Mushoku Tensei is Rifujin na Magonote and he done interviews explaining a lot of his reasons and inspirations around why he wrote this story and you will come to find a lot if it resides in issues and realizations he had growing up and that he felt needed to tell this story because he believed that it would help people in the future that went through a lot of the same stuff he went through.

"Sore wa mo" means of course. It might be a subtitle mistake. Sometimes it happens for some words or phrases.

When it comes to Japanese speakers trying to pronounce Western words, especially names, you get strange sounds hanging on the ends of words. Japanese is structurally build of consonant vowel pairs. Pretty much every syllable takes that form in Japanese and they only have those blocks to build with. This means that when they try to say a western word or name which ends with a consonant or when two syllables with a word have consonants at the end of one and beginning of the next they can't exactly match that structure. They end up adding "u" and "o" sounds to match the structure of Japanese. Additianally the "L" sound pretty much just doesn't exist in Japanese, so often gets replaced with a sound that is loosely analagous to our "R", which can get further complicated in Anime as western terms will get translated INTO Japaneses, and THEN translated BACK for the subtitles. This is especially messy with names. These subtitles are excellent about getting the original name, not just forcing the Japanese pronunciation back into the english alphabet. Ghislaine's name does not have a "o" sound at the end, but Japanese speakers have difficulty ending with a consonant, so they add one.

"Mo" is a particle used when you want to say something like 'too.' If you break down sore (that), wa(is), and mo(too), it might mean Rudy is saying "that is as well" as the other person saying that he seems close to her. Maybe it is supposed to be she seems close to you and he is responding with "sore wa mo (me as well)." Actually, this makes more sense. However, the person talking to Rudy said "Naka wa yoroshi desu~ na" which is exactly how it is in the subtitle. I am a newbie in Japanese as well. I only took one class in Japanese and continued to learn on my own afterward.

so i believe the wa here is being used as the particle of saying that that(sore) is the subject of the sentence. The verb desu(is) is most likely implied here. (I am still pretty new to studying as well!) Paul wa genki desu ka? (Is paul okay/healthy?) Hai, genki desu(yes, he's fine). [Genki (He's fine).] Context is a very big thing for japanese. Though i believe leaving off the verb makes its it very informal.
