(not spoilers btw) well in the latest chapters of the manga (which is only about 4 episodes of anime worth of source material since people wanted to get on my case so much), theyre still in the 6th layer, so dont worry, youll eventually see more of the 6th layer when post-season 2 get animated, but that wont be for years since the arc thats after season 2 hasnt finished yet so there isnt enough source material yet.

If you want to watch a "pervy" anime, watch food wars. It is actually a good anime (at least the manga is, didn't watch full anime cuz it wasn't out fully then) with content other than the sexualisation. Might be also good anime for you since you have commented often how food always looks so good in anime, food wars is basically that turned to 11.

Ok, its time for another Ohm's Reactions segment! Honestly, this was a setup episode, so there is much less to react to from my perspective as things mentioned previously or implied previously come to a head. First, Reg and Faputa's dynamic was... interesting. Its like seeing a long lost best friend but you cant remember them but your friendship was etched in their mind. It is also notable that Faputa's body pieces are of such value both inside and outside of the closed system of the village. Outside monsters are drawn by her flesh, and inside the flesh is of near-incalculable worth. Riko showing a great deal of intuition again when faced with Wazukyan and his ill intentions. Because OF COURSE he would try to make ANOTHER child make a sacrifice so that they could continue to travel the abyss in their current forms. The fact that the Third Sage was a being created as a guardian of the village purely from Vueko's trauma was... unsettling but not that surprising, because as I recall the guy was long dead by the time they had started entering the abyss. Still as monstrous as ever, but in an appropriately monstrous form. That also explained why he didnt die to the previous attack. Reg finally fired his lazar to open the way for Faputa, who basically sees the entire existence of the village as an affront to her being. Her referring to the black thingies as her brothers and sisters was both touching and sad, because it felt like she was in a way sacrificing them for the sake of her own regeneration. But given that her whole mission in life seems to be putting her family to rest, this makes sense as well. Only two things surprised me in this episode, and they were minor: 1 - The fact that Riko could leave the village unharmed (I thought for sure that the barrier was somehow a concentrated veil of the curse given that the village has no barrier whatsoever, not a simple membrane like the orb that brought them below the sea of bones) 2 - That Nanachi dreamt, in essence, Irumiyui's past. Saves the need for explanation i guess, but now I'm curious as to how Belaf in particular reacts to this. I'm sure given how Vueko said seeing pieces of Faputa would break him that he is still mentally in a space where he probably would be more than willing to give up his life again. Additionally the fact that Nanachi woke up implies some sort of shift in the balance, but we certainly wont know what that means until next episode at the earliest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lastly, to Luke, PLEASE don't watch an anime that's ecchi right now. Mushoku Tensei already has enough cheekiness to outdo some of the previous stuff you've seen in anime.

While I agree that those anime types don't appeal to me either. He is doing multiple series at a time. Just because you don't like one he's doing. It shouldn't have any affect to whether or not you'll support him. (I'm assuming, you mean in general and not just on Patreon?) I could see if he shifts to *only* doing those types of anime. However, that's simply not the case here.

What Gaburoon told Reg was that Faputa put the beast deterrents and was trying to test him. Reg asked both Gaburoon and Faputa if they wrote "that note" but none of them answered. You can assume that it was also her who took Prushka but it hasn't been revealed yet. So, technically yes, slight spoilers. I would delete it anyways, since it will be revealed in tomorrow's episode and we have a couple of first-time watchers in the comments.

Re: Juroimoh, yeah, he's Vueko's abuser re-personified and controlled, pretty much by Irumyuui (he's will of the village, as Wazujyan says). Him attacking Reg and forcing him to use his incinerator - that was Irumyuui opening the way for Faputa to do her work.

Irumyuui wanted a child that survived. Faputa was the first one that didn't die, and it took 3 eggs to do it. Remember the villagers and Faputa have never spoken. She can't enter, they can't leave. She just knows to hate them for using her mother. They think she's the daughter of their goddess that keeps them alive down here. She's the greatest miracle they have ever seen and they all love her because the city itself loves her. She knows none of this and wants them all to suffer.

2023-07-22 04:06:33 Previously when we saw Faputa's backstory, we were shown that she found this Interference Unit broken down shortly after being born. She made him into her nest, and eventually helped him rebuild himself. After that point, he started following her around and was the one to give her the name Faputa, and she named him Gaburoon in return. We have been hit with a lot of things back to back to back, so it's easy to lose track of details. After you're done with this season, I highly recommend rewatching on your own with hindsight. And please, please listen to the ending song. It hits so different when you hear it the first time, and then you reach that certain point in the show and suddenly you realize what the song is about.

Well Rahzma, you need to keep better track of details, because you would know what you just said contained spoilers. That particular backstory information has not be been revealed yet. Episode 10 had some backstory, but it didn't contain any of what you just said.

There isnt another movie for MiA, and as for season 3 currently there is only enough source material for like 3-4 episodes. At the pace the author makes it we might have a 12 episode season in about 2 years which will be fine considering this next arc is majorly important and progresses the story as we get closer and closer to the bottom of the Abyss. Also a detail that is not really a spoiler per say is that Yes we will explore the 6th layer more in season 3, so Season 2 being a contained story isnt that big of an issue when we get more seasons in the future. Personally I have a theory that there will be about 5-6 seasons of the show when it is complete. If i'm remembering correctly there is a statement from the author saying that Layer 6 and 7's story is about half of the entire story.

"obnoxious" ? Why? To me, Faputa is the best character of the series so far. Design, animation, voice, animal-like behavior, her abilities, her connection with Reg, her past, her inner quest and dilemmas...I love everything about her. Fortunately, I'm not one of those who don't like her ^^.

I'm really glad there are people who love her character and love this part of the season. For me personally, I didn't care for her animalistic personality from the get go, but that's not why I dislike her. To explain my reasoning with everyone, I'm completely against destroying the village and the hollows. I believe Irumyuii's sacrifice is worth it so those hundreds of hollows can keep living. The greatest numbers first and all that. In fact, I believe I 100% would have acted as Wazukyan did. I agree with him. So, I dislike Faupta for her actions. But again, to each their own! I'm glad to see people did enjoy this part. Looking forward to season 3!

This isn't really a self contained story either. The village and the cradles are connected with what Gigachad and side kick are up to. S3 is shaping up very nicely from the manga so far.

@Animeter To me, It depends. I'm passionate about "visuals" in general haha. If the production quality is deceiving, that is where I usually switch to manga... As for "To your Eternity", the overall mix betwin visuals, storytelling and music in Season 1 was reaaally good, I loved it, but S2 went downhill in my opinion. As good as the story may be, if the visuals and the rythm are not on the same level, it kinda breaks the equation for me.

@Thomas M I've seen other people upload full OP and ED reaction without pause without any issues on patreon. Also, Luke himself uploads OPs and EDs with pause, so he could do the same in special occasions like this and the last episode. These are patreon exclusive, so all he needs to do is cut the reaction of the OP/ED for youtube.

This is precisely what makes Faputa so interesting...she was born out of Irumyuui's anger. She carries that anger in her DNA. Destroying the village is her function, it's what she was born to do and, until the events of season 2, she was a prisoner of it. It's both her own will to free her mother and a task she's programmed to accomplish. As events unfold, she realizes that things are more complex than that...that while Irumyuui has had a tragic fate, she has also found her treasure with Vueko and the Ganjas. She doesn't just feel anger for what they've done. Love and anger can be felt at the same time. And more generally, human feelings are complex and sometimes paradoxical. We're not binary. This, in part, is what Faputa stands for.

dude, but how the hell you stop when the ending song is playing? i understand if it's a normal ending, but not when it's a special ending like this one. The 'release' is as important as the episode itself, it just let sink everything what happened while the music is playing. Edited: Other comments say it as well...to summarise you are basically blue balling all of us :_D
