yes, that was ending 3, however watching all that in season 2 (ending 3) you wouldnt even know what it all means. yet its there anyway. its so crazy right?

The thing that is super interesting is nn the first ending it says "In this cruel yet beautiful world I endlessly question the reason for my survival" on the final ending there is the line "The world is cruel but still I love you. Even if I sacrifice everything I will protect you". We always hear so much about how mikasa loves eren but eren is willing to destroy the whole WORLD to protect her and maybe he thinks that he survived the first wall being destroyed so he could protect her (and of course armin too).

The best part about the spoilers in that ending, is that, iirc, it hadn't even been written in the manga yet. So no one knew. I remember being shocked on one of my re-watches after I had read it, and just getting chills. Like holy... great foreshadowing.

you shuld watch openigns endings and anime song with subs a lot of them hit diferent when you know whats it about

For the overall picture, it is very important to know the translation of endings and openings. Well, I would like to add in advance that after the finale of the manga, the perception of the picture changes again. A lot of theories and parallels make the story even more interesting. But this needs to be rummaged, of course, after reading the ending. In particular, you did not notice that birds constantly appear in the frame. You may not think what it could mean yet, but the species of this bird is called "jaeger" (and it is the bird that symbolises freedom). And there are many more interesting parallels - they are also present in openings and endings. What if I told you that the first episode of the first season spoilers everything up to the finale?) <--- remark: the adaptation left out the manga moment with the hair, who gets it, gets it.

I'd be really interested in seeing you revisit the openings now that you've caught up on the series. It'd be really fun to see the comparison of what you thought of the openings before watching the series to now afterwards.

Before the next part of AoT goes live, I actually think you should watch the last of the OVA episodes first. OVA episodes, as a rule, aren't necessary, but the last one in particular--the one focusing on Mikasa--is... an interesting case. People who believe the Anime Original Ending theory (like me) would say that particular OVA contains a lot of clues and foreshadowing for things to come. Not spoilers, just clues. And I personally would like to see you react to it before we enter the final part (part one) of the final season. (They really are stretching the definition of "final season" with the various parts of season 4.)

it's a shame that you didn't have subtitles. The lyrics in each ED brought so much meaning to the songs...I'm not sure who is supplying you with the vids, but they're not doing a great job, just speaking in general. Lots of out of order reactions and stuff. Probably won't see this but highly recommend rewatching the last ED at least with subtitles, even in your own time.

You don't happen to have a link to how Eren's dream was presented in the manga without spoilers of the ending? haven't read it but i want to see what the anime left out :D I wish I could go and read about all the parallells that smart people have pointed out bc im to stupid to see all the connections but I am too afraid of spoilers xC I didn't know that thing about the jaeger bird, i just thought that birds being able to fly and that in it self symbolise freedom but this adds another layer to it and its so cool!

You should go back and watch a version with subtitles cuz it's much better with the lyrics and the visuals! it's just a whole other experience being able to put everything together with the words:)

You should check out Attack on Titan's Historical Footage by Kane Pixel's on YouTube. Without spoiling, Kane essentially shows off the horror of attack on titan's moments using cgi and clever editing, spliced in with real war footage to make attack on titan's most terrifying scenes come to life. make sure to watch it after the show has ended though, because i believe some of them are still events that haven't happened yet
