about the calls, i think its meant to be a problem with how the characters use it since its connected to their brain their thoughts are probably stuttering while thinking of what to say (thats just what ive gathered from it since it happens throughout the show)

I'd say watch at least season 1 of Castlevania. It's 4 episodes long and it will give you a good feel for the show. It progressively gets better and better Imo. It's mostly the gore and vulgar language that makes it fit the Patreon exclusive with other naughty thrown in at times. If you like the show like we feel you will you can keep it up. Seasons get longer too

As for what Lucy is doing - I think you missed what she found when she hacked into Tanaka... he had all that information about the Arasaka projects and potential test subjects. Among them was a file on David, that's why Lucy fried him and scrambled the data... it's also why she is now hunting down everyone that Arasaka sends in to try and recover the data. Yeah, Made in Abyss has great music and animations. The world is beautiful, the drama intense, and the fights are so amazing. But this anime needs a TW since it has themes of child abuse and unnecessary pedophilic scenes. I feel like it's a disservice if no one has told you this about Made in Abyss. Within the series, it's sprinkled around and it's quite disturbing. People can like the anime series, but I don't think it's good for new anime fans, just like how I don't recommend Mushoku Tensei, even though I think it's one of the best Iseikai anime/LN out there. It's also why I don't recommend it on the YouTube slot, but rather the Patreon slot if you're still curious about the show and want to watch it.

The dialouge was weird mostly due to Kiwis way of talking. She often repeats words to make her sound a bit glitchy or something. probably because of her robot mouth.

as much as I love castlevania it has 4 seasons, short seasons but you would still be watching it in September with the weekly release for patreon exclusives. if you want something that cant be on another platform and is short then elfen lied would be a good choice.

Its a bit complicated to understand right away, but here we go- Arasaka and Mil-Tech are the two biggest corporations in this world, The entire time under Maine, Faraday was working for Mil-Tech and they were trying to steal data from Arasaka via Tanaka, the guy who was trying to get david to turn coat in episode 6. Lucy when she was going into Tanaka's neural net saw something that rattled her hard and took all the data for herself essentially. Since then Arasaka has been trying to get it back but Lucy has always hid the data or killed whoever was snooping. So in response to this Arasaka attacks Faraday and makes him turn to them for protection instead of Mil-Tech. Arasaka then gets Faraday to track down the "Meddlesome Netrunner" aka Lucy offering 1 million for her alive. He goes to Kiwi who he knows is an excellent Netrunner herself and they work together to track her down and set the trap at the end.

Hellsing Ultimate would be a great replacement but it is an anime safe for youtube. if you want it to be a darker, not safe for youtube anime then i recommend Neon Genesis: Evangelion. Its a much darker toned anime that i feel you would really enjoy. It has a few movies that continue the main story (they arent remake movies) so i feel after the main season of anime you could do those movies as great additions to patreon

I'd recommend Black Lagoon or Basilisk. Both have some major dark and messed up themes that wouldn't work on YouTube. Black lagoon is focused on some bad ass mercenaries and Basilisk is about a ninja war.(not the Naruto kind of ninjas but the murder efficiently kind)

Cyberpunk genre is all about drugs, sex and existentialism. You can find traces of it on other awesome anime classics of the genre (anime movies, in this case), like "Akira" and "Ghost in the Shell".
