One thing you have to understand is that with this show, there’s never truly nothing going on. Things might come to a standstill as far as action and fighting but the show does a great job of drip feeding and slowly revealing more and more info to the audience for more important plot relevance later (i.e the subtle focus on the wine for it to be revealed that it had Zeke’s spinal fluid.)

I remember back in season 2 when he thought the Sasha episode where we met her father and saved a girl who's mother was being eaten by a titan was filler. I was smirking and laughing back then, and the Gabby arc is why. Now I'm smirking and laughing at his reaction to this climatic episode remembering his thoughts from back then and coming full circle.

how did you now know it was Sasha's family when 1. The man was the same man at Sasha's funeral who Nicolo said could come eat free at his resturaunt anytime.... and that man said he was Sasha's father 2. When the little girl was telling her story about how Sasha saved her from a titan that as eating her mother was also a giveaway that that was Sasha's family, pretty sure she even called her her sister lol The spinal fluid does more than make people unconscious, they literally said that its how they turned that whole village (including connies mom) into a titan. As for why would it be in the wine? Well did they not just say everyones been bragging about that wine and its for/what the higher ups are drinking? hmmmmmmm

He watches these episodes 2 days apart and I think works a day job in between. You can forgive a man for not recognizing characters. In anime they are mostly differentiated through character traits, not necessarily physical features. Experienced anime watchers can easily tell Sasha's (rather generically designed) family apart through their kansai dialect, maybe not so much if you haven't heard that much "normal" japanese.

two days apart? So hes doing better than me... I only got one episode a WEEK... thats 7 days apart, and I kept up just fine :p As for Sasha's father being generically designed. Id disagree... name other characters in the show that look anywhere close to him? Also even if he couldnt tell my looks as I mentioned in the 2nd point the girl SAID sasha was a sister (or at least STRONGLY hinted at it), so from there its simple deduction "If that girl is sasha's sister, and "Ben" and "Mia" lives at said girls house with her family... so that MUST be Sasha's mother and father"

I find it amazing how Luke can catch some little things in the episode and guess what is going to happen next, some things I didn't even noticed when I was watching it.

How do you catch some things so well but then things that have already been clearly described to you go right over your head? Lmao... no, their human body doesn't turn into a titan body when they are injected. They are up in the nape just like the titan shifters. Why else do you think that the nape is their weak spot and that's where you hit them to take them down?

If that's true then I would call that a flaw in the story, because that's not clearly explained and it seems like they want you to believe the opposite. It really doesn't make any sense that the nape is the weak spot if there isn't a human there, and it also lines up so well with where we see shifters sitting. I really thought the fact that the nape was the weak spot was an early sign of what these titans are, and meant that they were slicing through humans that were sitting in there causing them to die and the whole titan to rot away, including the human body.

It's not really that hard to understand. Sure it hasnt really been explained that much in the series but it doesnt really take a genius to realize that if humans were in the nape of a pure titan then the show would have ended a long time ago. When a human is turned into a pure titan, their body is essentially fused with the entire titans body. The nape is the weakness of pure titans because the nape is where the brain is connected to the spinal column. When that's cut, it cuts their brain from the rest of their body and causes them to no longer be able to regenerate.

After doing some research on the matter it turns out I was half right. Humans are in the nape shortly after transforming but they are slowly absorbed into the Titan leaving only their nervous system behind (presumably in the nape) which is why the nape is the weak spot. So I don't see why you are coming in here acting like I'm a dumbass, I wasn't really that far off. Lol

You was far off true fans already knew TGE HUMANS themselves wasn't in the nape evan before I 100 percent knew u could tell because like shifters if there bodies was in tge nape the titan will evaporate while tge body will be revealed but dead but that wasnt the case have common sense

4:08 Luke says Zeke is untrustworthy because of the brutal way he's killed people BUT he gives a free pass to the full-on psychopath, Annie. We saw her smile as she spun a scout on his cable so hard he split in two (1x17) We saw her methodically mash a grasshopper, bit by bit, in a flashback earlier this season, That's what psychopaths do. 5:54 Blouse family and 2 runaway kids. First off, all those kids are adopted. It's implied that the Blouse's think the two runaways are escaping abusive parents. Why give them over to further abuse?
