Yeah, Gabi and Eren a similar in a way. And I like how Gabi ended up with the girl saved by Sasha. And animes often knows how to hit you emotionally - even if they aren't as relatable as AoT. It's something about how they set up audio and visuals. Even One Piece brought me to tears about... a ship. And Sword Art Online once really hit me like a train - but you'll see if you watch it somewhere in the future.

I disliked Gabi at the start aswell but over time you grow to understand her more. I can't actually hate Gabi for the way she acts because she was literally fed lies and propaganda her entire life and trained to think the way that she does... Children are like a blank slate and when you fill them with hatred and guilt from the moment they are born, of course they aren't going to have the best ideals.

When it comes to the most "morally correct" character, to me, it's been Jean. A character I didn't initially like. Jean has really grown in the shadow of all of these epic personalities and has been paying attention. He is always reaching for the right move and is not so arrogant to think he has all the answers. He accepts new opinions without being a pushover. Mikasa has not yet had the internal moral debate because her morality has always been "whatever Eren does" and Armin is far to naive to fully see the battlefield of ideas.
